The new year is a beginning, so new goals and resolutions, new plans, and new dreams fill everyone’s thoughts. When it comes to setting New Year’s resolutions, people tend to set unrealistic goals. The most common New Year’s resolution is to lose weight and improve one’s diet. We tell ourselves that we will work out every day and stop eating unhealthy food. However, as good as it sounds, only 8% of people stay committed. Most start slacking in February and eventually forget about their goals altogether. People are not motivated to commit to their resolutions because the goals are often not truly obtainable. To stick with New Year’s resolutions throughout the whole year, Back Parking Lot. Sleepless and Stressed New Season, New Coaches By: Joshua Archibald Walking into first block classes, one may discover some students dozing, abruptly switching back to consciousness after involuntarily catching a few seconds of much-needed shut-eye. Shadowing a student through the day, one may find himself performing a physics lab, taking a calculus test, and presenting a short story that took ten hours to write, record, and add music. When the final bell rings, that student may stay in the library to find some more second derivatives, write college application essays, search for scholarships, and (perhaps) eat before an a cappella choir rehearsal or athletic activity stretching until seven o’clock, at which point he will resume homework and keep going until Coach Buckley, head coach of indoor track. Rose left the Cavaliers due to another injury to his left ankle in a game against the Milwaukee Bucks. However, he decided to return to the Cavaliers to continue rehab and treatment for his injury. Rose stated in an interview that his injury was due to a bone spur in his left ankle. He has made it clear that if his ankle does not heal quickly, surgery will end up being his only option.
