Vs. 1 Unorthodox – trace back my earlier roots / My grandparents immigrated for food not for loot / It ain’t cute / When you ain’t got nothing to eat / And got no spiritual foundation under your feet / Now that’s some real heat / They had no heat / Now, that’s some real street / They had no street / They had no Christ – They had no peace / But, then they met him and know they really know peace / Their new worldview broke tradition / Their new worldview provoked cultural suspicion / Their new worldview brought even brought division / But that same worldview got you listening / listen / It was passed down from my parents to me / I got this unorthodox family tree / If you get down with the movement you can be fam with me / We making this music to make the people free-

Chorus Unorthodox – We rock your city blocks / We rock your roof tops / We rock your boondocks Unothodox – We shake your shell tops / We shake your top rock / We shake your boombox Unorthodox – We break your old clocks / We break your hard knocks / We break your old locks Unorthodox – We break your stereotypes / We shake your stereo right / We let you know Christ rocks!

Vs. 2 Grew up a pastor’s kid aka a PK / and in Philly kid, it’s hip-hop every day / It’s so easy to stray /with no street lights / I found myself browsing the wrong sites / Those were some long nights / Spiritually - some real fights / Until I stopped fighting and dropped my rights / And got connected – let him edit my profile / My space - used to be so vile / it’s so wild / How his software can clean your hard drive and make you a new child / His new com- munity with all the friends I’ve made / Check my music player – all the songs they’ve played / all the comments saved / My tour dates – all the places I’ve played / It’s an unorthodox page / cuz of the path he paved / cuz of the price he paid / My lifestyle reps Christ cuz of the life he gave-

Chorus

Vs. 3 On my journey’s people ask my occupation / I tell em’ I’m a pastor and an artist – there’s amazement / True en- gagement / Sometimes I wish I could take they look and frame it / They can’t picture a cat that’s braided / Cuz the old school presentation got em’ jaded / But so many people waited / (For a ministry out the box) / With no cultural locks / (Crossover Church) – unorthodox / Dreadlocks / fades and fitted’s / A multi-cultural faith community that’s committed / To the great commandment and the great commission / We orthodox in our beliefs, but not in our fishin’ / We into Biblical context and not tradition / Cuz we’re more concerned about your heart’s condition / (We got a passion from God) – so we’re Purpose Driven / We look just like you – but we found what’s missin’-

Chorus

Vs. 1 (Urban D.) We always look to what next – but what about now / We grind long hours – by the sweat of our brough / The system’s so foul / Got us thinkin’ we need it / Work more – spend more – got us thinkin’ we’ll beat it / But, the cycle’s repeated / We get so conceited / It gets me heated / So I heeded / The calling / I’m not called to be bal- lin’ / That’s the freight most hip-hop is hauling / And it’s appalling / From that point of view we’re all broke / King Solomon said riches are just like smoke / They’ll vanish / But, most of us live so dope – compared to the rest of the planet / But, ya’ll staring at me like I’m speaking Spanish / I don’t have 3 houses and 9 cars – but I think I’ll manage / I’ll think I’ll get by / Like Christ said it’s easier for a camel to go through a needle’s eye-

Chorus 1 I appreciate His abundant provision / That He’s Given / Content is how I’m livin’

Vs. 2 (Surreal) Family, friends, good times - chillin’ – sittin’ around a full plate of food just building / looking to the future while learning from the past / And I try to put my mind upon the things that will last / Not just the cash – the fame and the jewelry / I praise his name all the rest is Tom foolery / Not chasing after bling and monetary gain / But, I wanna enter heaven with a honorary name / Cuz the truth bust the lies wide open / We’re just a grain of sand on the shore of God’s ocean / Life that we’re living is a small increment / We’re created in his image so we’re God’s fingerprints / So live a life of purpose / Scratch beneath the surface / The master of all things lived a servant / gave his life for my sins an immediate / It’s something I can’t even begin to appreciate-

Chorus 2 I appreciate His amazing grace / Sins He’ll erase / He pleads my case

Vs. 3 (Urban D.) Father I appreciate – you loved us first / When we spit in your face and curse / We was at our worst / You let your veins burst / For our transgressions/ We got obsessions with temporary possessions / It seems we can’t learn our lessons / Forgive us– help us acknowledge your blessings / Father – I thank you for Christ – I thank you for my daughters – Thank you for my wife / This new life / Is so gorgeous / Your love has no strings attached – like a cordless / I was lord less / But, for 11 years now I’ve at this full time / I’ve been privileged to speak, to write, and rhyme / To adults and youth / People might trip at the method – but, – let’s appreciate the fruit / Let’s appreciate his vision / Let’s appreciate he’s risen / Let’s learn to be content and appreciate his provision-

Chorus 3 I appreciate His unconditional love / It’s all love / The creator shed His blood

Los-1: I’m a servant at the heart it all / I believe being a servant’s at the heart of it all / If it wasn’t why did Jesus give His life at the cross? / And how else would you explain the term: Lamb of God? / So my position in the Kingdom of God / Is to follow the example of the Kingdom of God / And everyone that came before me that was following God / Had the same motive, to be a servant, for God-

Legacy: I am a member of the fam / Called out click - remember we da clan / Bigger than myself droppin’ the mic in my hand / Help a hurting brother pull him out the quicksand / Can you stand the hurricanes and the blizzards / Coming in this with the force of a rushing river / A cold and callous body lies weakened while it quivers / But stand together and you’ll see a forest full of timbers-

Symalee (Beyond Skillz): Committed to a hero / United in returning catz home / I am the church / Whose body’s meant to turn catz from wrong / Don’t get it twisted I’ve enlisted in combat with this song/ If you missed it / It’s suggested you keep in mind and listen on / We’re spittin’ on / Hott trax DJs are mixin’ on / And hittin’ on / Topics some peeps are sittin’ on / And in this form / Of hip hop our walls are born / Built upon the best foundation/Christ / The rock of stone-

Rize: It’s my pride in life to be the bride of Christ / Tied to Christ / Past the 25th and the silent night / These words I write come from more than just emotion / Cause from before my mother’s womb I was chosen / To be a part set apart trying to do my part / When we put those parts together there the church starts / See church isn’t just where I go twice a week / Church is where you live work play sleep and eat-

Chorus: I am the church / you are the church / we are the church since our spiritual re-birth / it aint the building / it aint the steeple / look at the biblical context / it’s the people

Pastor Derrick: Forget the concrete / Rock hard to the bomb beat / Set the trumpet to my mouth / The alarms leak / Crack the steeple / Party people / Open the wall for all to see / The place where the Psalms leak / Its where Salam seeps in the air / As the church lifts up the name of the Don peeps / And the Don seeks / Human beings to rep the church / As loud as the ghetto with the loud jeeps / So when they see me / They see him / The king who can free sin/ In him again / You can begin / We win / In Christ freedom-

SPE©: I’ve been burned / I’ve been torched / I’ve been set upon blaze / I’ve seen the hearts of evil men / and the flaws of their ways / I’ve seen blood cover floors / and men rise from their graves / for centuries I’ve seen / the mistakes that we made / we belittle then we judge and we argue ‘bout doctrine / we gossip and we lie / then blame it on Darwin / people welcome hell / while they’re coffins start carvin’ / the pale rider rides - and we keep on arguing - I AM!

Imperial (Beyond Skillz): The Church just another brother in Christ / who lives a covenant life and makes another HIT righteous I might just explain let’s do it! While / I gott you open gott you clappin’ to it see we try / to shine bright and let action prove it, it’s like doin’ / hard work puttin’ ya backs into it except we do / the Lord’s work and impact with truth it’s so / amazing to see all the lives he saving! Through the Church!

Urban D.: Our church has been honored with multiple awards and plaques / But haters run their multiple mouths behind our backs / The media’s featured us in multiple articles with favorable facts / But close minded cats take multiple chops with they ax / But relax / We don’t do it for either / We ain’t trying to please ya / I know the faith community can catch amnesia / Remember we’re supposed do this for Jesus / so, let’s be the church daily on a mission as he leads us!

Chorus

Vs. 1 Urban D. I grew up – knew the faith / knew what’s safe / Never my intention to fall for the bait / I’m straight – saw the truth / saw the proof / saw the streets from my protected roof / That was my youth / Then I grew to a teen / grew to the scene / grew to walk with a lean / no longer clean / I left the roof top / I left his workshop / I left his clock / STOP

Bridge (Bobby Tinsley): There was a moment where I knew I had to stop – take a look around – see my life wasn’t going up – it was going down, down a road I didn’t want to go, what I gotta do now is bring myself back to you (Urban D.): Cuz everything I was - ain’t what I am – Everything is new (Bobby Tinsley): Finally saw that I needed to change, cuz the road I was on was a road to pain (Urban D.): I saw who I was – but I didn’t want to leave my crew (Bobby Tinsley): What they need to know is I gotta go, and I hoping they’ll come too...

Chorus I’m coming back home / I’m coming back home / You better open up the door for me / cuz I been away too long

Vs.2 Urban D.: The saga continued / I dined where sin was the only dish on the menu / no matter how pricey the venue / charge it to the game – the bill they’ll send you / They love to be-friend you / I’ve come too far / I gotta hit the club, gotta hit the bar / I gotta Act like a star / Live above the par / Mira me! I gotta stunt in my car-

Bobby T.: So I’m riding on the lane with my sun shades on and I looked to the left and I saw the church / but I couldn’t get myself to walk in at first see / I was scared to show / what I felt inside / all the lies I was trying to hide / When I let em’ out it felt so beautiful-

(Bridge & Chorus repeated)

Vs. 3 Urban D. My life was a disaster / came home to the master / running from my call to be a pastor / I told God that’s it / I’ll submit / I’ll even cease to spit / That’s right about the time my pen got lit / found my gifts / perfect fit / 92’ – I’ll never forget / took me up to the penthouse and out of the pit / It was a total eclipse / of the heart / brand new start / no more clips of the dark / my life was canvas and the creator was making beautiful art / Like a beautiful mark / Here’s the beautiful part / I found true peace at home / True peace alone / True peace is known / When you find that Jesus Christ is on the throne /

Chorus

Vs.1 Well... most of us spend a dollar twenty for every dollar we make / there’s gotta come a tipping point where our pock- ets will break / but we selfish, we just wanna take / we live beyond our means... which means we’re kinda fake / cuz everything is borrowed, and everything is loaned / everybody wants to be like so and so - so everybody’s cloaned / spiritually we’re owned / by this sin sick disease / people fiend / the celebrity life of luxury and ease / and it’s not all bad - but please / losing your soul’s more expensive than ammenties fees / and college degrees / won’t help to greater expose this / research shows this / cuz even street cats know this / whether your rich or your flowless / it’s only your heart’s condition that can slow this / I hope you don’t have to end up like the writer of Ecclessiates to open your eyes and notice-

Chorus 1 you can talk it up and bluff - okay! / you always got the latest stuff - okay! / now debt got you by the cuff - okay! / but you still can’t get enough - okay! / you tell yourself you gonna stop - okay! / as soon as you make it to the top - okay! / but your life is bound to flop - okay! / cuz God don’t work on your clock - okay!

Vs. 2 Consumer minded / we’ve been blinded / lookin’ for love in materials, we’ll never find it / we want better, faster, cheaper, yeah we got more technology, but our character is weaker / we got 27 pairs, but we want another sneake r/ we’ll daydream about it during church instead of listening to the speaker / but then we’ll pray - “Lord, make us weaker” / but we ain’t a true seeker / cuz we won’t let Him / we make bad decisions and regret em’ / but we find ourselves at the same exact dead end / everything’s disoposable and everything’s upgradable / and there’s no absolute truth, so everything’s debateable / and just like your laptop, your ipod, your cell phone - everything’s tradeable / your friends, your family, even your marriage covenant / look at the big screen - it seems they lovin’ it!

Chorus 2 I don’t need it but i want it - okay! / I’ll get it just to flaunt it - okay! / it feels good when people on it - okay! / I can’t pay my bills - I’ll have to pawn it - okay! / self control - I know He taught it - okay! / He gives strength - I should have fought it - ok! / but, I gave in and bought it - okay! / if I would have listened - I might have caught it - okay!

Vs. 3 Now we really know what’s up - but we like to splurge / we get that money - sometimes we can’t fight the urge / so many people’s on the verge / of financial clapse / but they kep bumpin’ the radio with material raps / buying the sales pitch with material traps / but read the small print not just the caps/ don’t pay til 09’ but watch out that intrest slaps / know the facts / perhaps these raps / will help you be more selective / but it’s not your 401k or your mutual funds prospective / that’ll solve your financial collective / honestly people - it’s your eternal perspective / until you grasp God you’ll be stuck in the struggle / stuck in the hustle / working a double / grapling with budget trouble / it’s a process, but He can dig you outta the rubble / if you submit to Him and clean up your stubble / He’ll be sure to break you outta the pop culture bubble-

Chorus 3 the creator can make ya life - okay! / take away the financial strife - okay! / make ya heaviness feel real light - okay! and get forgiveness through the christ - okay! / throw ya o’s in the air and shout - okay! / let your city know what you about - okay! / represent don’t give em’ no doubt - okay! / let em’ know you ain’t sellin’ out - okay!

MAIN PAGE Culture Written by: T. Kyllonen, C. Ramirez, E. Puyol Featuring: Los-1 & Rawsrvnt Produced by: Ismael Brito for Izzy Productions Recorded at: Leg Up Studios – Tampa, Fla. Mixed and Mastered at: Deep Productions – Tampa, Fla.

Chorus It’s in my culture / Where they ready to ball / And ready to knock you off / If you play life soft / It’s in my culture / Where they ready to play / With no rings when they lay / Hoping they don’t get aids / It’s in my culture / Where they killing all the time / Over nickels and dimes / Took guns and cause crimes / It’s in my culture / I pray we change our game / So we can change our aim / And live life His way-

Vs.1 (Urban D.) We don’t need God – we got it handled our self / We just depend on our knowledge / And we depend on our wealth / A kid got sick back in the day / Parents would hit they knees and pray / We just take anti-biotics today / There’s nothing to say / To the creator / Cuz we’ve created so much hot stuff – you know we major / We the dopest – we the fliest / You best not try us / We deserve luxury – man, don’t deny us / Even Christians take on this mindset / Twist scriptures for personal gain with no regret / They got a broken net / They got some smokin’ debt / You’ll probably read about em’ on someday soon on the internet / Our culture’s proud and boastful / Now we global / iphones keep us mobile / But nobody’s noble / But I’m hopeful / Cuz we’re empty inside / Only Christ can fill that spot / & Redeem us from our pride-

Chorus

Vs. 2 (Los-1) I’m goin’ to get ’em / Teenagers that is / As the closest thing they’ve seen to holiness / I’m a Christian / The Word’s in my heart / A living example of speech seasoned with salt / Now take that / Put it in the schools / Every teacher in Tampa gives me whole class rooms / Los-1 / Life Skillz / Doin’ what it do / A national educational resource for public schools / The student body is in need of mentor / The student body has hormones and men tour / So I made it my 9 to 5 to clarify the difference between sex and doin’ it right / Abstinence until marriage is all I give ’em / Opposite the message television and radio give ’em / By the end of my program the slow jams / Have upgraded to waitin’ for a ring on they hand / Live it-

Chorus

Vs. 3 (Rawsrvnt) My culture / Is vicious like vultures / And quick to shoot you / If you move a little closer / To anything they got / Or anything they want / That’s why they go crazy / And start fight / To make it known / I’ve seen it before / And then again and again / That young boys / Will go ahead and kill grown men / Just because of something / That they can’t have / It’s like the Cain and Able syndrome / All over again / What’s going on world / I’m seeing girls dying quick / Not from bullets / But the corner / Where they be shaking their hips / And now they licking they lips / Cuz of a secret / That Victoria told them / So they can get cash quick / Man dang / Now what a brotha to do / When he’s stuck / And surrounded by the inner city blues / And escaping the headlines / For 10 O’ Clock news / I just gotta trust / In who / Created me and you-

Chorus

MAIN PAGE Temptation Written by: T. Kyllonen, S. Senior Featuring: Demetrus Produced by: Legacy for Leg Up Music Recorded at: Leg Up Music – Tampa, Fla. Mixed and Mastered: Deep Productions – Tampa, Fla.

Vs. 1 Peep the culture’s mentality / Saturated by sexuality / Attracted by sensuality / Fantasizing a false reality / Here’s the technicality / We’re trying to fill a spot created for spirituality / It’s grown to epic proportions / It’s turned a beautiful thing into an ugly contortion / Take caution / When you browsing on the web late nights / Cuz there’s over 300 million porn sites / It starts with small bites / But beware your appetite can grow / Statistics will show / It’s an epidemic that over 50 million Americans now know / Cuz their addicted/ They can’t evict it / It’s wrecked their expectations – their afflicted / It’s big business / Bigger than all pro sports put together / $12 Billion dollars (watch out) – temptation is clever-

Chorus You got to know (repeated 4x’s) you can make it – you can take it (2x’s)

Vs. 2 Sex sells and the culture buys / From CD’s, to cars, to French Fries / Legs, breasts, and thighs / Marinating in your thoughts – it ain’t wise / From Tims and Jeans – To suits and ties / It all starts with the eyes / For the girls and especially for the guys / Lust entices with the tantil - eyes / It’s no surprise / We try to take something that ain’t ours - we plagiar - eyes / In our mind we try to re-shape reality – we love to custom – eyes / But the result we despise / The consequences come in and wreck us with the vandal – eyes / Don’t fall for the lies / Don’t fall for the disguise / Let’s stand up together and rize / and open our spiritual eyes / See the truth – see the proof – let’s unite and mobile – eye-

Chorus

Bridge You’re checking out the girls in the mini-skirts / Now I know your flesh wanna put in work / But that’s not how he told you how you should live / And I know they looking good in the videos / But that’s not what he made all of these women for / Call his name – I promise that he’ll forgive-

Vs. 3 Sometimes we think we’re strong and that we’re exempted / But we have to be real and admit that we’re tempted / It’s easier to avoid than it is to resist / This was clear in Matthew 6 with Jesus’ prayer list / Lead us not / Into the situations that’s hot / But our flesh likes the heat before you know it you forgot / But hold on to the God’s rope – 2 Timothy 2:22 can be your knot / Choose to stop-

Chorus

1 Cor. 10:13 says that God is faithful. He will keep the temptation from becoming so strong that you can’t stand up against it. When you are tempted – he’ll show you a way out – so that you won’t give into it! So, next time your tempted – look for that strength from God and look for that way out – he’ll provide it – that’s word.

Vs. 1 In a place of immense poverty and oppression / Emerged this new urban form of expression / In a landscape of gangs, drugs, and depression / This voice became a light and a blessing / 1973 – The South Bronx was it’s dressing / That clothed the culture’s formation / Black and Brown was the predominate original persuasion / For this gritty inner-city communication / It started rotating / With DJ Kool Herc The Jamaican / Spinnin’ breaks at the park – it was history in the makin’ / B-Boyz hit the floor with titles for the takin’ / MC’s spit their art from the heart and not for the bacon / The trains and the buildings that were vacant / We’re the canvas for the graffers that kept the krylon shakin’ / authentic – no fakin’-

Vs. 2 It didn’t take long for people to start to bite / If you know your history the classic example is rapper’s delight / The genre’s first national record with half the lyrics the rappers didn’t (even) write / It ain’t right / But platinum sales propelled the culture worldwide over night / Now the spot light / Was in hip-hop’s corner / But soon the DJ, the graff artist, and the breaker were a goner / Cuz they only could market the MC into the radio format / Soon the other elements got stepped on like a doormat / 1983 – yo, let’s explore that / Run-D.M.C. landed a deal with a major label / MTV launched and now America could catch MC’s on cable / Eric B. & Rakim, P.E., B.D.P. showed that hip-hop was stable / And not a passing trend / For many it was true love – not a passing friend / But, the industry wanted the envelop to push and bend / Soon the original identity was about to end-

Vs. 3 The 90’s ushered in the gangsta rap era / This soon became a major rap error / Cuz now cats was making more bread than Panera / And their rhymes was leaving more blood stains than marinara / Bulging egos, bulging stress / Then this bulging beef between the east and the west / Blown up by the press / Two icon murders – who did it? That’s your guess / Hip-Hop’s in distress / Time to decompress / Maybe we should talk about negativity less / This was the vibe for maybe a year at best / But now rappers regularly rock bullet proof vests / It’s about your car, your crib, your ice / See the creativity is frozen like ice / It cracked like maybe twice / It’s obvious their content is stuck in a vice / But, they making money who needs advice? / They fell for the material entice / But it’s suffice / To think more twice / cuz our shorties and our communities future ain’t nice / Our music has power but what’s it’s purpose / Just to get rich and die is so worthless / Think about it – what does our culture wor- ship? / Temporary things – but – eternity – let’s search this / Dig deep you’ll find a creator’s love that’s so per- fect / Manifested in Christ – he worked it – offers forgiveness and hope that’s why I proudly spit him in verses.

MAIN PAGE Peter Written by: T. Kyllonen Production by: 2iceborn Productions, Tampa, Fla. Recorded at: 2iceborn Studios, Tampa, Fla. Mixed and mastered at Deep Productions, Tampa, Fla.

Vs. 1 I’ll die for you – even if everyone else leaves / These were Peter’s words before Christ got seized / Later that night in Gethsemane / Pulling swords was his remedy / But the messiah healed the soldier readily / The Shepard struck – the sheep scattered / Took him in for questioning – he got bruised and battered / For Pedro staying on the low was all that mattered / But soon his disassociation got shattered / As he sat alone in the courtyard / A servant girl came up and pulled his card / She said – you were with Jesus / He quickly denied it, stood up, and the Galilean started fleeing / He was nervous, and the hour was late / Put his hoodie on and walked towards the gate / Someone said, “This man was with the Nazarene” / He denied it and swore, “I don’t know what ya’ll mean! / I never even laid eyes on the man” / But remember MC Pete toured with Christ’s band / He spit back ups and set up the mic stand / Easily recognized by the average fan / On the culture their crew made a real dent / Some- one heard him and said, “I can tell from your accent” / The third time he called curses on himself / Thinking this would keep his person stealth / Then he heard the rooster crow – imagine how he felt / He wept – he was such a contradiction / He fulfilled Jesus’ prediction / This was his teacher, his rabbi – that pulled him outta fishing / Now it was just hours from the crucifixion-

I know a lot of us can look at Peter and say – Dang, how could he have denied Christ when he first hand saw the miracles and rolled with him for three years and sat under his teaching and his mentorship. But, you know what? I’m confident to say all of us can point to some real miracles in our lives – some supernatural stuff that we have to give it up and say it was the hand of God...but yet, we’ll still quickly deny our identity with Christ at times or maybe all the time on our job, at school, in front of certain people, or maybe on Myspace. So how different are we really from Peter... listen...

Vs. 2 Now here’s Pete / Saw Christ get beat / Saw the nails driven in his hands and his feet / Taken off the cross – a lifeless piece of meat / This was the final blow of defeat / Time to retreat / Back to the old ways / No more fishing for men – cuz fishing for fish pays / And this was even after Christ was raised / Spiritually – he was so dazed / Just like us – when we mess up / We go back to the familiar / Things of this world feel like familia / But Satan is stealing ya / Purpose and joy / As we blindly – fall for the ploy / That’s imitation like milk and meat made from soy / Just like Peter who went for the decoy / But Christ came to open our eyes and make us free / John 21 – he ap- peared to his crew @ Galilee / The sea / Also know as Tiberias / To reinstate Simon Peter – the text is so serious / Three denials is so serious / Three I love you’s is so serious / Feed my sheep – I tell ya the truth / Teach with ya life – not just from the booth / Christ predicted he’d die stretched out on a tree / Then he said to Peter – follow me – follow me – he says to you and I follow me-

So, you might be thinking – I’ve messed up too much – I’ve denied Christ too many times. I’ve gone back to my old way of life – the familiar sins – but Christ today is saying...do you love me? If you really do – he’s got forgive- ness for you – he’s got purpose for you. He used Peter to reach countless people after he came back...look at his story - look at his legacy...what about you?

Chorus

Vs. 3 I’m sorry Christian hip-hop can still be prideful / And I’m sorry Christian hip-hop can give you an eye full / I’m sorry Christian hip-hop can even deny you / I’m sorry Christian hip-hop can forget what you died for / I’m sorry that we rely more on marketing dollars / I’m sorry some are more into popping collars / I’m sorry we’re not more into being your scholars / And I’m sorry that we don’t better lead your followers.

Chorus

“... I look at who I am and these things I’m a part of. None of them are where they need to be. The church still has all kinds of issues and has given a lot of people the wrong idea about who God really is...and Christians that do hip-hop have followed right along with this in many ways. But, ultimately I have to start with myself – with God’s help – that’s who I can change first. From there I pray that I can have a greater impact on this group of people who call themselves the church and this culture called hip-hop and those influenced by it. I don’t know where you’re at in your spiritual journey or even if you have a relationship with Christ – but I’m sure there are some things that we can all tell the creator - we’re sorry for. But – it has to go beyond just saying we’re sorry... cuz we can say that and still go do it again. There’s has to be true repentance... that word means a true changing of your heart, changing your mind, changing your actions. The dope thing is that because of what Christ did for us on the cross we can now be forgiven when we say we’re sorry and we mean it. “God, we come before you today as this closes out. We thank you that we can directly talk with you and tell you we’re sorry – and you can offer us forgiveness for our mistakes because of what your son did for us. I pray for each listener out there. I lift them up to you today. I pray these words of life will speak to their heart. Whatever areas of their life they need to get right – I pray your spirit will give them strength to make the necessary changes. And those that don’t truly know you I pray that you’ll show yourself to them – they’ll see that you are so real and you care about them so much – I pray they’ll reach out to you in their own words and tell you they’re sorry and they need you and want a relationship with you. I pray for our culture – I pray for our generation – use us – in unorthodox ways to represent your truth. Amen.”
