Claim 735 . NR 395.2: September 30, 1847: This is an explanation of the interest in the land and the 10t From , through Kamehameha II until Kamehameha III. It was inherited land for Amamalua and for me, his son, Kaahumanu. When he [Amamalua] went under Koahou [his brother] and died, it was bequeathed to Kekalionohi, not to me, the heir. I remained [on the 'land] and sought out this Haku of mine [Kekauonohi], who refused to part with it. This was at Hilo. I am independent in the claim for these six lands whose names are: Kanekiki in Puna, Honokohau and Kukio in Kona Waianae in Lahaina Waimalu on The sixth is the houselot at Honuakaha on Oahu. I urge that this claim be awarded, under the King. Here are the names of the witnesses for the land at Hilo: Kauhola, Walawala, and Namaka. NT 538.2 February 25, 1848: Kamaka, witness to land in Honolulu: from Keeaumoku to Kaahumanu in 1822, and Kaahumanu occupies it at present. It is enclosed, with two houses within. Boundaries John Ii confirms. Ff 213.2, February 25, 1848: Kamaka, sworn: knows his houselot in Honolulu called [sic; read at] Honuakaha. Claimant got it from Keeaumoku before Rihoriho's death [1824]. Keeaumoku possessed it a long time before Claimant lived on it. Partly fenced, and has 2 houses on it. John Ii confirms.
