Local Teen Headed for Pebble Beach

Parker Reddig from The First Tee of St Paul (Twin Cities) to Play in 2013 Nature Valley First Tee Open

St Paul, MN (July 31, 2013) – The First Tee of St Paul is sending Parker Reddig to compete in the 2013 Nature Valley First Tee Open at Pebble Beach, an ofcial Champions Tour event that will be held September 27-29 and televised internationally on Channel.

Reddig will join 80 other participants from The First Tee chapters for the event, which is in its 10th year. Reddig was selected by a national panel of judges who evaluated playing ability and comprehension of the life skills and character education learned through their involvement with The First Tee. Almost 150 applications were submitted.

PARKER REDDIG is14 Years Old, his hobbies include Golf, , soccer & hanging out with family & friends.

Golf Achievements: Participated in the 2012/65th US Junior National Golf Championships. 2 time MN Junior PGA Champion. 4 time MN Junior PGA Tour Champion. 8 time US Kids World Golf Championship Participant. 59 junior golf tournament victories. 3 hole-in-ones. First Tee participant since 2006, Attended in 2013 The First Tee Life Skill and Leadership Academy in San Diego, participated as First Tee Junior Reporter in 2012 at the 3M Championship at the TPC Twin Cities.

Reddig and the other juniors will be teamed with 81 Champions Tour players and 162 amateurs as they compete for the pro-junior title at Pebble and Del Monte . Play will be conducted on Pebble Beach Golf Links and Del Monte Golf Course on Friday and Saturday, and final round will be played on Pebble Beach on Sunday.

Reddig quote, “It has always been a dream of mine to play at Pebble Beach and thanks to the First Tee of St.Paul I will now have an opportunity to do so alongside some of the greatest players in the game” The First Tee of St Paul is one of 188 chapters around the country and in select international locations. Serving the Twin Cities since 2005, more than 5000 young people have been served through chapter programs and The First Tee National School Program.
