What is FootGolf? FootGolf is a combination of soccer and golf. It is played by kicking a soccer ball a golf course with the objective of getting the ball into an oversized, 21-inch diameter hole in the fewest amount of kicks.

Why Play FootGolf? Lots of reasons! Anyone can do it! You just have to be able to kick a ball. It’s fun for the whole family. Other than a soccer ball, no equipment is needed. It’s great exercise. It’s perfect for unit PT, as well as social and team-building activities. It’s for both recreational and competitive players. It’s quick -- players can play an 18-hole course in 2 hours.

May I play with any ball? FootGolf is played with a soccer ball (Reg. FIFA soccer ball #5 or #4).

Do I need a soccer ball to play? A FootGolfer may bring his/her own soccer ball or rent one in the .

Do you walk or use a cart? Both walking and carts are allowable; carts are available for rent. For some players, it may be quicker to walk because you are not kicking the ball hundreds of yards. Walking also increases the exercise and endurance component of the game.

How long does it take to play FootGolf? FootGolf is fast! FootGolfers can play 18 holes in approximately 2 hours, versus 4½ hours for golf.

Are their age restrictions to play at FootGolf? You must be at least 6 years of age to play FootGolf at Paradise Point Golf Course.

Do I have to make a time? Tee times aren’t required, but are encouraged to insure you and your group are able to tee off at your desired time.

1.) Your ball must be easy to identify.

2.) Kick off your ball from the position up to two ball lengths behind the markers.

3.) The ball must be played as a single movement. You are not allowed to push the ball with the top or bottom of your foot. Your foot should be set separate from the ball, clearly behind, before each kick.

4.) Play the ball where it lies: You are not allowed to move the ball or remove jammed objects. EXCEPTION: You may mark the spot and lift the ball when it may obstruct the other player’s kick or ball in any way.

5.) The player farthest from the hole is first to kick the ball.

6.) The order of play is established based on of the previous hole. The player with the best score will kick off first on the next hole followed by second, etc.

7.) If the ball lands in the water , retrieve or replace it within two steps from the closest land point from where the ball entered the hazard. Player receives one stroke or place the ball at the original position and add one stroke penalty.

8.) Review the scorecard and wait for your turn. Make sure your kick will not interfere with other players.

9.) Wear appropriate clothing (follow Base dress code).
