He continued to succeed as he qualified Canadian Tour veteran Darren Griff hits to the par five for the ’10 U.S. OPEN, finishing t39th in the event! What 11th hole at McCleery Golf Course. Weintraub shot a round 72 to shoot -7 for the tournament, good for 2nd place and a cheque for $4,500. He went on to qualify for the PGA Tour’s FRYS.COM event two weeks later!
