River Oaks Golf Club 2017 Cross Country Golf Layout and Rule Sheet

USGA rules apply except for the following special rules:  All players will use white tee markers.  Format: 2 Person Scramble  Handicap: Combined handicap divided by 4  The field will be flighted by team handicap.

Today’s course is a 12-hole cross country golf course.  Through the green, ball may be placed with-in one grip length no closer to the hole.  If ball is lost player may place new ball in play no closer to the hole from where the ball would have most likely lied, with a penalty of one shot.  Ball laying on wrong green, including nursery green, must be dropped no closer to the hole and at least 20 feet from wrong green, no penalty.  Putts inside a grip length are good  Maximum strokes taken on any hole is 9. Other special rules included in course layout.

Course layout: #1 Play from #10 tee to #11 green. #2 Black tee on #12 to #6 green. #3 Play from #7 tee to #13 green. Please check to see if green is clear before playing to green. #4 Play ball from tee located south of #13 green to #12 green. Ball must be played down #13. #5 Play from standard #12 tee to #14 green. Proceed to #15 tee. #6 Play ball from #15 tee to #17 green. Balls north of #8 cart path are out of bounds. #7 Play ball from #18 tee to #9 green. Tee shot must be played down #18 fairway. Proceed To #5 Tee #8 Play ball from #5 tee to #10 Green. Park carts in front of #10 Green before proceeding to #11 tee with caution. #9 Play from #11 tee to #1 green playing the ball down #3 fairway. Driving range is out of bounds. Proceed back to #3 tee #10 Play from #3 tee to #2 green. Proceed to south of #1 green #11 Play from the south of #1 green to Practice putting green. Proceed to teaching tee #12 Play from teaching tee to #4 green. Proceed to tenth tee to start on #1
