FIRST SEMESTER CORE COURSE- I : MODERN POETRY (GHAZAL) CORE COURSE- II : URDU NOVEL CORE COURSE- III : URDU DRAMA ELECTIVE COURSE- IV : ONE OF THE FOLLOWING OPTIONS (I)HISTORY OF URDU LANGUAGE (II)LISANIYAT AUR URDU LISANIYAT SECOND SEMESTER CORE COURSE- V : MODERN POETRY (NAZM) CORE COURSE- VI : URDU SHORT STORY CORE COURSE- VII : ONE ACT PLAY ELECTIVE COURSE- VIII : ONE OF THE FOLLOWING OPTIONS (I)HISTORY OF URDU LITERATURE (II)HISTORY OF NON FICTION PROSE FIRST SEMESTER CORE COURSE - I : MODERN POETRY (GHAZAL) Time Allowed : 3 hours Max Marks : 100 Pass Marks: 35% INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE PAPER SETTER 1. The question paper will consist of three sections : A,B and C. Sections A,B will have four questions from the respective sections of the syllabus(Two questions from i & ii each) and will carry 30 & 30 marks respectively. The Candidates will have to attempt two questions from each section. Section C will consist of 10 short answer type questions which will cover the entire syllabus uniformly and will carry 40 marks. Each short answer type question will carry 4 marks. 2. Question paper should be set strictly according to the syllabus.
