Amtrak Cascades Service and Northbound 14

Impacted by Track Work in

On Select Dates in October and November, 2017

Track work being performed by will affect between Klamath Falls, Eugene and Portland. Impacted are Trains 503, 505, 506, 508 and 14 on the dates indicated below:

Train 503 Tuesday, Oct. 17 through Monday, Oct. 23 Wednesday, Nov. 1 through Wednesday, Nov. 8 Train 503, which normally operates between Portland and Eugene, will be cancelled. Bus service will be provided at all stations on the route.

Train 508 Tuesday, Oct. 17 through Friday, Oct. 20 Wednesday, Nov. 1 through Friday Nov. 3  Train 508, which normally operates between Eugene and , will operate between Portland and Seattle only. Bus service will be provided to and from Eugene, Albany, Salem and Oregon City and will connect to Train 508 at Portland.  Train 508 will operate on its normal schedule on Saturdays, Oct. 21 and Nov. 4 and Sundays, Oct. 22 and Nov. 5.

Trains 505 and 506 Oct. 21 and 22 and Nov. 4 and 5  Train 505, which normally operates between Portland and Eugene will be cancelled. Bus service will be provided at all stations on the route.  Train 506, which normally operates between Eugene and Seattle, will operate between Portland and Seattle only. Bus service will be provided to and from Eugene, Albany, Salem and Oregon City to connect to Train 506 at Portland.

Coast Starlight Northbound Train 14  Monday, Oct. 16: Northbound Train 14 will wait at Klamath Falls up to two hours. If you are connecting from Train 14 to Train 28 at Portland, you will get off the train at Klamath Falls, where bus service will be provided to Pasco. At Pasco, you can board Train 28.

 Oct. 17 through Oct. 23 and Nov. 1 through Nov. 8: Northbound Train14 will wait at Eugene up to two hours and 15 minutes. If you are connecting from Train 14 to Train 28 at Portland, you will get off the train at Eugene, where bus service will be provided to Portland. At Portland, you can board Train 28.
