CHANGING COURSE: LONG- TERM EXPERIENCES

Within a generation the Ruhr has gone through radical change. It has moved from a - and steel-based declining industrial region to a greener service and knowledge-oriented polycentric metropolis. This has had a profound impact on society and landscape.
