The Dukes of Brunswack- Wolfenbuttel established cabanets of art, cunosataes and natural hastoy at vanous sates wathin their Duchy. These ancluded the collectaon of art and rantaes at the libray in Wolfenbuttel, the cabanet collectaon of Ferdinand Albrecht in Bevern, the Kunst- und Naturalienkammer of Anton Ulnch at Schloss Salzdahlum, and the cabrnet of art and natural hastoy in Brunswrck of Duke Karl I, founded m 1753-4 and ultamately derived from those other collectrons. A manuscript inventory of the cabinet of art and curiosities at Salzdahlum has been redascovered and rs presented here m transcnptaon, allowrng a detaaled reconstructaon of thas at National University of Singapore on October 17, 2013 hrtherto almost unknown collectaon. Particular emphasrs as given to the contempora y laterature crted in the anventoy regardang the cabanet collectron.
