Map #: 103 (See Geauga County) State Route 87, U.S. Route 422, Interstate 271 Express, Interstate 480, Geauga & Cuyahoga Counties Resurfacing of State Route 87 between Auburn Road and West Street in Geauga County and minor pavement rehabilitation of various routes throughout Cuyahoga County including U.S. Route 422, Interstate 271 Express and Interstate 480. State Route 87 will be maintained with flaggers. The U.S. Route 422 ramps at Harper Road and State Route 91 are permitted to be closed during nighttime hours. The Interstate 271 Express lanes and Interstate 480 ramps at Tiedeman Road are also permitted to be closed during nighttime hours. On Interstate 480 at State Route 176, traffic will be maintained. Map #: 2 State Route 237 (Front Street), Cuyahoga County Construction of a grade separation to include three bridges to carry Front Street over the CSX and NS railroad tracks and an access road between Second Avenue and North Rocky River Drive in Berea. The complete closure of State Route 237 is expected on or around May 4, 2009 and will remain closed until late summer 2010. Access to driveways will be maintained throughout the length of the project however access points will vary as construction progresses. Begin: February 2009/Complete: July 2011

Map #: 16 U.S. Route 322 (Mayfield Road), Cuyahoga County Bridge rehabilitation over the Chagrin River in Gates Mills. Traffic will be maintained with one lane of traffic in each direction. Carpenter Road will close on or around March 16 for a period of four to five months. Motorists may detour via West Hill Drive. Begin: October 2008/Complete: October 2009

Map #: 9 Interstate 77, Cuyahoga County* Major reconstruction and lane addition between Oakes Road and Rockside Road. On or about March 23, crews will resume work on the north end of I-77 from Wallings Road to Rockside Road. Traffic will be shifted to the outside as crews build new pavement including the widened portion of I-77. During mid-summer crews will shift traffic to the inside as they work to rebuild the outside lanes. Lane closures are expected during off-peak hours. Begin: April 2008/Complete: October 2011

Each of the four ramps will be closed individually for a period of no more than 21 days each. Traffic will be detoured via adjacent interchanges. Begin: May 2009/Complete: August 2009
Map #: 8 Interstate 490 Eastbound/Interstate 77 Northbound Interchange, Cuyahoga County Widening of the ramp from Interstate 490 eastbound to Interstate 77 northbound and re-facing of the outside parapets on the Interstate 77 bridge over U.S. Route 422 (Orange Avenue) and East 30th Street. This project also includes replacement of asphalt shoulders along the route between Interstates 490, 77 and 90 with concrete shoulders. No long term or rush hour lane closures will be permitted. For short durations and periodic weekends, full closures of the Interstate 490 ramp to Interstate 77 may occur, as well as a full closure of Interstate 490. Detours will be posted.
