NEW! FIESTA MULTIMEDIA EXPERIENCE Poble Espanyol de

Activities for students 2018/2019 Introduction

In 2016 the Poble Espanyol began a profound pro- cess of renewal that has led to a clear improvement in its technological aspects and in terms of content. This included a complete audiovisual project through which it is now possible to discover the traditions, landscapes and the excitement of the festivals. In short, the soul of Spanish villages.

This year, you can immerse yourself in the soul of the people and the villages. You’ll enjoy a spectacular multimedia experience first hand through technol- ogy, especially in the Fiesta space. We have cre- ated a thread that guides you through this journey, consisting of activities related to the definition of a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Human- ity: “a cultural diversity device and creative expres- sion, as well as a motive force for living cultures”.

So, among the topics we present is , with- out doubt the most universally understood Andalu- cian artistic expression. The Mediterranean diet, also declared an Intangible Heritage of Humanity, is the source of inspiration for the special cuisine we have on offer.

Finally, we have some content available (only in Bar- celona) related to crafts and popular culture, which are ubiquitous elements associated with this univer- sal heritage.

Come and immerse yourself in the soul of ! Nueva
