From June 1, 2020, the access to the will be exclusively from the so-called "Sperone Valadier" and can be used by individuals or groups of up to 14 people, properly spaced, that will enter every 15 minutes and always accompanied along the entire route.

We inform you that for security reasons, from June 1, 2020 it will not be possible to admit more than 600 people per day.

For security reasons all visitors must be checked.

To facilitate security controls, you are asked to put any object (including mobile phones) in your backpack or in the special tray that will go through the X-ray machine.

It is forbidden to introduce bottles, glass containers, alcoholic drinks and spray cans, camping backpacks, bulky bags and suitcases / trolley, while it is possible to introduce small and medium shoulder bags, which must be control with the metal detector, like any other bag. The bags will be opened and visually inspected by the Urbe Security Institute, responsible for the inspection at the entrance.

COLOSSEUM: entrance only from the "Sperone Valadier"

2 visit routes:

1. “Il si racconta” provides access to the first order from the basements, the ascent to the second order, the visit of the permanent exhibition, the view from the Valadier terrace on the Colosseum square (estimated time 45 minutes). From here, without having to book a specific time, people can follow 4 different routes:
