SEATING AUDITIONS

Prepare one solo selection of your choice. Prepare the following excerpts. Preparation of auxiliary parts is strongly encouraged but not required if you do not have access to an auxiliary instrument. If you own an auxiliary instrument, we ask that you please bring it with you. BUTI will, however, provide instruments as necessary to cover auxiliary parts in the festival repertoire. Auxiliary parts will be assigned as needed and at the discretion of the faculty. • Stravinsky, Rite of Spring o Rehearsal 9 to 12 o Rehearsal 42 to 44 o Rehearsal 3 to 4 (English horn) o Rehearsal 10 to 12 (English horn) o Rehearsal 129 to 131 (English horn) • Dvorak, Symphony No. 8 o Mvt.
