Area Country Dealer Name Address Notes Dates of Lotus Relationship Terminology makes it difficult to accurately determine the status of each dealership. Some were called distributors, others importers, whilst others were dealers, agents, service centres etc. The list contains all types. Similarly dates can not be taken as entirely accurate as few records exit to verify them. Information comes mainly from the sales sheets, advertisments of the period and dealer network brochures Europe Angola Mocar SARL Caixa Postal 16464 Luanda Run by Altino & Renato Fraga. Mocar was a strong and prestigious car dealer, representing as distributor for Lotus and De Tomaso, within the then modern Capital Luanda, one of the largest car sales centers in the world, in the 1960s.Was also importer for Ford, ran a race team under the Team ETA-Mocar banner in early 70s (ETA was the Angola Tobacco Co).The 25 of April of 1974 deeply changes the life in Angola and Altino Fraga heads to Portugal. It takes a few years to settle in Lisbon, but the effort, coupled with a deep understanding of the car market, would be crucial for Altino Fraga to regain the prestige he had built a decade earlier in Angola. Silvio Moser E La Bellasi F1

Erinnerungen an Jo Siffert

F1 LEGENDS RACING add-on for GT LEGENDS V2.0 Posted by H1TM4N - 2017/10/25 17:10 _____________________________________ F1 LEGENDS RACING add-on for GT LEGENDS ======================================= Version: 2.0 Release date: 31. august 2017 CREDITS ------- 2D/3D stuff: BorekS ([email protected]) Car physics: deep-strike Sounds: wolferl / adapted for the cars by deep-strike DESCRIPTION ----------- A free downloadable add-on car pack for GT Legends game (by Simbin), based on historic Formula One Grand Prix cars. F1 LEGENDS RACING 2.0 (F1LR2) is a completely overhauled F1 LEGENDS RACING 1.0 (F1LR) mod content. Its about same car type list basicaly, but there is not the common car body shape anymore. All our original F1LR cars got new body, engine and all the other related part styles. The original F1LR physics has been revised and each car type got a new real based F1 1967 engine sound set. Therefore the F1LR2 is meant like a mod updated to 2.0 version series. The reason, why the F1LR2 cars still are imaginary car manufacturers and driver names, is the car models arent created accurately according to the real historic cars. The car types / manufacturers are easy recognisable what for physics will be used, also every F1LR car manufacturer slot is trying to keep the ground of real 1967 F1 race team colors. For more see below. F1 LEGENDS RACING 2.0 car list: * F1 1967 Beagle T1G, engine: Beagle V12 48 valves. This car is based on real F1 1967 Eagle Weslake T1G. * F1 1967 Britus 43, engine: GBR H-16 64 valves. -
Manawatu Car Club Inc Magazine October 2020
B Manawatu Car Club Inc Magazine October 2020 Page 1 of 54 EDITORSPEAK… email: [email protected] After bashing my head against a brick wall with Auckland Transports “sledgehammer to crack a nut” approach to road safety, I’m heartened to see that the proposed speed limit changes in the local Manawatu area (submissions closed early last month) seem to have been proposed in a considered and commonsense manner and in some cases go contrary to current NZTA recommendations. Obviously lowering speed limits or having a flexible limit around schools is a no brainer, but, for example, not lowering the limit on the Pahiatua Track to below 80kph seems to indicate that whoever was responsible has a pretty good handle on the realities of travelling on rural and semi-rural Manawatu roads. Well done that bloke/blokess, let’s hope the submission process doesn’t overturn these totally sensible options. The final round of the FAE Winter series proved to be a game of two halves. Run under Covid restrictions it became a 2-day affair like the first round, and the weather went from a beautiful sunny Saturday to a wet and average Sunday. Of course the MX5’s got to run on Sunday!! Waking up to the sound of rain wasn’t promising, though a quick look at the forecast on my phone revealed it clearing from 9.00am. Quite simply, they lied. A massive contrast to my trip down from Auckland the previous day, Tee shirt, sun streaming down from a clear blue sky, the mountains looking magnificent cloaked in white…. -
