35 Programmable Stop Scotchman Programmable Stop System

The Scotchman Programmable Stop System allows you the ability to enter a part length and the stop will advance to that position quickly, and accurately. The Stop System can move one length at a time, or be programmed with a series and quantities of cut lengths for faster operation. Have you had the problem of a machine operator not being able to read a or the problem of inconsistent lengths due to different operators setting the length stops? Too long a set up time? With a Scotchman System, you can end these costly mistakes that result in bad parts. The operator simply enters the number from the cut sheet into the keypad controller, presses “Start”, and the automated stop moves to the correct position at 2’ per second! No need for a tape measure to set the length stops again. The Scotchman System can use fractions, decimals, or millimeters. The Stop System is available in lengths from 4’ to 30’. The stop uses a 32 mm steel reinforced cog belt, powered by a DC Servo driven motor, with an optical encoder for repeatability and accuracy. Each system includes a covered roller conveyor, as well as a Standard Inter Connect Kit (SIK), which prevents the stop from moving while the tool is in motion.
