Black History Figures Research Posters are engaging research posters that students use to learn more about a figure in Black History, then design and color to create a fun poster! This set includes 20 different book reports. There are 4 different styles and formats! A blank editable form to use with any figure is also included.

Students may use books, encyclopedias, and child-friendly internet sites to do their research. Since each research poster is a single page, students will have time to research several historical figures during the month of February!

Each book report includes the name and picture of the historical figure, clip art of American symbols, a space to include the dates of the person’s life, and 4 research and reflection assignments. These research reports are great for reading and research stations and as assignments for the whole class!

A student and teacher rubric are included with this set of posters. They may be used to assess accuracy of responses, expression of ideas, and visual creativity. Just Print and Go! Your students are just a page away from creating an informative, creative research poster report! I hope you enjoy using Black History Figures Research Posters with your students!
