Former Celebrity Apprentice host and now presidential candidate is being replaced by another politically minded Hollywood star-.

When the reality series returns next year, Schwarzenegger will take over hosting duties of the show Trump and his children made so successful for NBC. Trump, who left the show in order to run for president (amidst some controversial and offensive remarks that lost him much of NBC's support), congratulated the star on his new role:

- Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) September 14, 2015

Schwarzenegger's role as host was a natural move from Trump, who has ties in Hollywood as well as the business world. Schwarzenegger, while well known for his action movie roles and two terms as California governor, also has several business holdings, from restaurants to real estate and sports franchises.

"I have always been a huge fan of The Celebrity Apprentice and the way it showcases the challenges and triumphs of business and teamwork," Schwarzenegger said in a statement Monday. "I am thrilled to bring my experience to the boardroom and to continue to raise millions for charity. Let's get started!"
