We extend our deepest sympathy to his son Neil. Over the years Murray has epitomised the best of this club, always eager to be actively involved in all aspects. It is also fair to say that this Club has been integral to Murray, as much of his life centred around Club activities. He immensely enjoyed all Club functions and willingly assisted in a wide range of duties. Murray was always on hand to help to organise and assist wherever necessary. His dedication to the historic vehicle movement and this Club in particular, saw him spend endless hours organising events (particularly longer Murray Coster pictured at the 50th distance rallies) and enjoying the fellowship of oth- Anniversary vehicle display in March 2017 er members at events. CHRYSLER 160, 160 GT, 180 a 2 Litres Zrození Chryslera 160/180 V 60.letech, když francouzská značka Simca odprodala svůj většinový podíl (63%) americkému koncernu Chrysler, došlo k přejmenování společnosti na Chrysler France.

Volume 19 Issue 7 July1, 2019 One of Mike Denney’s Favorite Lincolns Mike’s 1952 Lincoln Capri This story is courtesy of Old Cars Weekly and originally appeared as one of their feature arti- cles written by Brian Earnest. Our thanks go our to Old Cars Weekly. It is one of our long time favorite publications. Mike Denney is a confirmed fan of cars that are authentic and unmolested. Given a choice between a modified car and one that’s unmolested, he’ll lean to the factory-issue version most of Welcome to the the time. Of course, there are exceptions to every rule. A few years back when Denney came across a Northstar News, the beautiful example of one of his favorite cars — a 1952 Lincoln Capri — he kept an open mind monthly publication of and didn’t balk at it, even though it was not factory-correct. He’s never regretted bringing home the Northstar Region the Capri and adding it to his collection. The fact that he is the director/editor of the Road Race Lincoln Register didn’t hold him back either. He simply knew a great car when he saw it. of the Lincoln and “It has a later-model 351 engine and C4 transmission,” says Denney, a resident of Mounds, Continental Owners Oklahoma, near Tulsa. “I bought it from a guy who bought it from a man who modified it. He had Club. We value your a wife in a wheelchair and they loved the car, but he wanted to make it more reliable and put air conditioning in it and so forth.

Representatives of the nine govern ments signed the pertinent amendments to the three Euro pean treaties on July 22, thus clearing the way for ratification by the national legislatures. Enactment of the proposed amendments would empower the European Parliament to reject, for example, the Draft Budget as a whole by a majority of its members and two thirds of the votes cast. The future will tell whether the parliament will actually use this power or whether the authorization will remain largely symbolic. It is more likely that the assembly will occasionally insist on budg et changes within the limits set by total draft expendi tures. The Council could overrule parliament only by unanimous vote. Where the parliament proposes an increase in spending, a simple majority in the Council would suf fice for rejection. Establishment of the Court of Auditors would fulfill long-standing demands from many factions in the EC, since it would permit audits of Conununity expenditures and reve nues.
