Thank you for your interest in having a party with CircEsteem! Parties can be held on Sundays between 10:00 am and 7:30 pm in our space at Alternatives, 4730 N. Sheridan, or at your location. PARTY TIME! A 2 hour CircEsteem party includes warm-up games, an exciting demonstration of four different circus skills, a circus workshop in which guests can try the four different skills, and 20-30 minutes for cake or dessert. The circus skills offered at your party are up to you! Select two large skills and two small skills. We are happy to make recommendations. You can arrive to set up 15 minutes prior to the party start time. Feel free bring decorations and an iPod or phone to play your child’s favorite music on our sound system. We welcome any type of food or non-alcoholic beverage, and you are welcome to use the oven/stove and the refrigerator in the kitchen. There are four tables in the birthday area for adults to sit and watch and to serve food. If you’d like us to take care of the catering, we can do that too!
COST $495 for 20 participants; additional participants $20 each Additional fee for travel to your location The fee includes space and equipment rental, instructors, administration, and insurance. Adults not participating in the circus workshop are free. We request a non-refundable deposit of $100 with the signed contract. The remaining balance is due the day of the event. Workshop Skill List
Gym Wheel – CircEsteem can provide 1-2 instructors in gym wheel to assist participants in trying these contraptions out for themselves under careful guidance and supervision. Try a simple teeter totter with a friend or if you’re brave enough, go all the way upside down!
Tight Wire – Children and adults of all ages will get the opportunity to walk across a tight wire with grace and confidence. Once you’ve mastered an unassisted walk across, try it backwards or balance on one foot!
Diabolo– Learn to do throws and catches with CircEsteem’s master diabolo performers.
Juggling – Scarf and bean bag juggling allows everyone to find success whether it is throwing one scarf up in the air and catching it on your head or mastering a 3-scarf or bean bag cascade. You’ll be juggling in no time!
Plate Spinning – Don’t try this at home! Learn the art of plate spinning from a master CircEsteem plate spinner.
Clowning – Engage in fun and goofy games guaranteed to get even the shyest gest to emerge from their shell. Great for all ages. Bring out your inner clown!
Rolling Globe – Balance and walk on a globe like the professionals do. Anyone can master this! The ultimate in foot coordination challenges. Don’t let your feet stop moving!
Trapeze – In addition to a fun way to to monkey around, trapeze helps develop core and upper-body strength, flexibility, and grace.
Feather Balancing – Fun for everyone. Feather balancing can be mastered in just a few minutes and will allow the participant to move quickly onto more difficult tricks. Ever tried to relay race while balancing a feather on your finger tip? Now you can!
Partner Acrobatics – Engage in team building activities. Learn to build a human pyramid! Or simply balance on your partner’s knees. Whatever you learn in partner acrobatics will build trust and is guaranteed for lots of laughs!
