Holy Prophet (Saws) DUA AFTER the 'Nafilah' of Fajr In a narration from Jafar ibn Muhammad: When the Noble Prophet (saws) had prayed two rakahs before the morning prayer, he laid down on his right side and placed his right hand under his right cheek, then said: ٰ ٰ (I have laid hold of the firmest handle of Allah (saws ﺇِ ْﺳَﺘْﻤ َﺴ ْﻜ ُﺖ ﺑُِﻌْﺮَﻭِﺓ ّﺍﻟﻠِﻪ ﺍﻟُْﻮﺛْﻘﻰ ﺍﻟﱠِﺘﻲ َﻻ ﺍﻧِْﻔ َﺼ َﺎﻡ ﻟََﻬﺎ، َﻭ ْﺍﺳَﺘْﻌ َﺼْﻤ ُﺖ ﺑِ َﺤْﺒ ِﻞ ّﺍﻟﻠِﻪ ﺍﻟَْﻤِﺘ ِﻴﻦ. which shall not break off and I have clung to the strong rope of Allah. ٰ ٰ ﺃَُﻋ ُﻮﺫ ﺑِ ّﺎﻟﻠِﻪ ِﻣ ْﻦ َﻓﻮﺭِﺓ ﺍﻟَْﻌﺮ ِﺏ َﻭﺍﻟَْﻌ َﺠ ِﻢ، َﻭﺃَُﻋ ُﻮﺫ ﺑِ ّﺎﻟﻠِﻪ ِﻣ ْﻦ َﺷﺮ َﺷﻴ ِﺎﻃ ِﻴﻦ ِﺍﻹﻧْ ِﺲ َﻭﺍﻟِْﺠ ﱢﻦ. I seek refuge with Allah from the outbursts of the Arab ْ َ َ ﱢ َ and the non-Arab, and I seek refuge with Allah from the evil of the devils from the man and jinn. ٰ ٰ ٰ َ ﺗَﻮﱠﻛْﻠ ُﺖ َﻋﻠـﻰ ّﺍﻟﻠِﻪ، َﻃَﻠْﺒ ُﺖ َﺣ َﺎﺟِﺘﻲ ِﻣ َﻦ ّﺍﻟﻠِﻪ، َﺣ ْﺴِﺒ َﻲ ّﺍﻟﻠ ُﻪ ﻭﻧِْﻌ َﻢ ﺍﻟَْﻮِﻛ ُﻴﻞ، َﻻ َﺣْﻮ َﻝ I trust in Allah. I seek the fulfillment of my needs from Allah. Allah is enough for me and He is the best َ ﱠ ّٰ ْ ْ Procurator, there is no power or might but by (the will َﻭﻻ ُﻗﱠﻮَﺓ ﺇِﻻ ﺑِﺎﻟﻠِﻪ ﺍﻟَﻌِﻠ ﱢﻲ ﺍﻟَﻌ ِﻈﻴﻢ.ِ .of) Allah the Sublime, the Mighty

Ibne Babawayah Qummi has reported from Imam Muhammad Baqir (as) has recommended to recite 70 times:- I pray for the forgiveness of Allah and I repent Astaghfirullaha rabbi wa atoobu ilayhi ﺍ ْﺳَﺘْﻐِﻔُﺮ ﱠﭐﻟﻠَﻪ َﻭ ﺍﺗُ ُﻮﺏ ﺇِﻟَْﻴِﻪ .before Him It has been reported from Imam Jafar Sadiq (as) that whoever recites 100 times following will not encounter any unpleasantness during that day. And there is no power or power-acquiring Except Mashallaho kana la hawlava laquwato illa bilahil aliyul َﺣْﻮ َﻝ َﻭﻻ ُﻗﱠﻮَﺓ ﺇِﻻّ ﺑِﺎﷲ ﺍﻟَﻌﻠﻲ ﺍﻟَﻌﻈﻴ ِﻢ ﻣﺎﺷﺎَء ﺍﷲ ﻛﺎ َﻥ ﻝ through God, the High, and the Mighty”. azim Recite 11 times Sura Ikhlas, and 10 times Sura Qadr. In Tahdhub al-Ahkam (by Shaykh al-Tusi), it is reported that whoever repeats the following ten times after the Dawn Prayers, Almighty Allah will save him from blindness, insanity, leprosy, poverty, and (house) demolition :This supplication, which is reported from Imam `Ali Amir al-Mu'minun (`a) at the Night of Mabut,is said each morning and evening. All glory be to Allah, the All-great and in praise sub¦¡na all¡hi al`a¨¢mi wa bi¦amdih¢ ُﺳْﺒ َﺤ َﺎﻥ ﱠﭐﻟﻠِﻪ ﭐﻟَْﻌ ِﻈ ِﻴﻢ َﻭﺑِ َﺤْﻤ ِﺪِﻩ ;of Him and there is neither might nor power save with wa l¡ ¦awla wa l¡ quwwata ill¡ bill¡hi al`aliyyi َﻭ َﻻ َﺣْﻮ َﻝ َﻭ َﻻ ُﻗَﻮَﺓ ﺇِ ﱠﻻ ﺑِ ﱠﭑﻟﻠِﻪ ﭐﻟَْﻌِﻠ ﱢﻲ ﭐﻟَْﻌ ِﻈ ِﻴﻢ Allah, the All-high and All-great. al`a¨¢mi Shaykh al-Kulayni reports Imam Ja`far al-Sadiq (`a) as saying: Whoever repeats the following seven times after the Dawn and Sunset Prayers, Almighty Allah will saved him from seventy kinds of misfortune the least of which are leprosy, and insanity; and his name will be erased from the list of the condemned ones, if it was llisted there, and will be added to the list of the happy ones: In the Name of Allah the All-compassionate, the bismi all¡hi alrra¦m¡ni alrra¦¢mi ﺑِ ْﺴ ِﻢ ﱠﭐﻟﻠِﻪ ﱠﭐﻟﺮ ْﺣ ٰﻤ ِﻦ ﱠﭐﻟﺮ ِﺣ ِﻴﻢ ;All-merciful there is neither might nor power save with Allah, l¡ ¦awla wa l¡ quwwata ill¡ bill¡hi al`aliyyi َﻻ َﺣْﻮ َﻝ َﻭ َﻻ ُﻗَﻮَﺓ ﺇِ ﱠﻻ ﺑِ ﱠﭑﻟﻠِﻪ ﭐﻟَْﻌِﻠ ﱢﻲ ﭐﻟَْﻌ ِﻈ ِﻴﻢ the All-high and All-great. al`a¨¢mi

Recite the following(known as the DUA'A of Imam Jafar bin Muhammad al Sadiq 25 times:

O Allah, forgive all believing men and believing Allahumma Maghfirli Momineen wal mominaat women, and all Muslim men and Muslim women. muslemeen wal muslimaat

In `Uddat al-D¡`¢, Shaykh Ibn Fahad reports Imam `Al¢ ibn M£s¡ al-Ri¤¡ (`a) to have said: Whoever says the following dua after the Dawn Prayer, will have all his requests granted for him and will be saved by Allah against every thing that aggrieves him: MP3 Video Pdf Image ﺑِ ْﺴ ِﻢ ﱠﭐﻟﻠِﻪ In the Name of Allah. bismill¡hi َﻭ َﺻﱠﻠ ٰﻰ ﱠﭐﻟﻠ ُﻪ َﻋَﻠ ٰﻰ ُﻣ َﺤﱠﻤﺪ ﻭﺁﻟِِﻪ ¢May Allah bless Mu¦ammad and his Household. wa ¥all¡ all¡hu `al¡ mu¦ammadin wa ¡lih َﻭﺍَﻓﱢﻮ ُﺽ ﺍْﻣِﺮﻱ ﺇِﻟَ ٰﻰ ﱠﭐﻟﻠِﻪ I confide my cause unto Allah. wa ufawwi¤u amr¢ il¡ all¡hi“ ﺇِ ﱠﻥ ﱠﭐﻟﻠَﻪ ﺑَ ٌﺼﻴﺮ ﺑِﭑﻟِْﻌَﺒ ِﺎﺩ Surely, Allah watches His slaves. inna all¡ha ba¥¢run bil`ib¡di So, Allah warded off from him the evils which fawaq¡hu all¡hu sayyi'¡ti m¡ makar£ َﻓَﻮَﻗ ُﺎﻩ ﱠﭐﻟﻠ ُﻪ َﺳﱢﻴَﺌ ِﺎﺕ َﻣﺎ َﻣ َﻜُﺮﻭﺍ ”.they plotted َﻻ ﺇِٰﻟَﻪ ﺇِ ﱠﻻ ﺍﻧْ َﺖ ُﺳْﺒ َﺤﺎﻧَ َﻚ There is no god save You. Be You Glorified! l¡ il¡ha ill¡ anta sub¦¡naka“ ﺇِﻧﱢﻲ ُﻛْﻨ ُﺖ ِﻣ َﻦ ﱠﭐﻟﻈﺎﻟِِﻤ َﻴـﻦ Lo! I have been a wrongdoer. inn¢ kuntu mina al¨¨¡lim¢na Then, We heard his prayer and saved him from fastajabn¡ lah£ wa najjayn¡hu mina alghammi َﻓ ْﭑﺳَﺘ َﺠْﺒَﻨﺎ ﻟَُﻪ َﻭﻧَ ﱠﺠْﻴَﻨ ُﺎﻩ ِﻣ َﻦ َﭐﻟﻐ ﱢﻢ .the anguish َﻭَﻛ ٰﺬﻟِ َﻚ ﻧُْﻨ ِﺠﻲ ﭐﻟُْﻤْﺆِﻣ َﻨﻴﻦ Thus do We save the believers.” wa kadh¡lika nunj¢ almu'min¢na “Allah is Sufficient for us! Most Excellent is He ¦asbun¡ all¡hu wa ni`ma alwak¢lu َﺣ ْﺴُﺒَﻨﺎ ﱠﭐﻟﻠ ُﻪ َﻭﻧِْﻌ َﻢ ﭐﻟَْﻮِﻛ ُﻴﻞ .in Whom we trust So, they returned with grace and favor from fanqalab£ bini`matin mina all¡hi wa fa¤lin َﻓﭑﻧََﻘَﻠُﺒﻮﭐ ﺑِِﻨْﻌَﻤٍﺔ ِﻣ َﻦ ﱠﭐﻟﻠِﻪ َﻭَﻓ ْﻀ ٍﻞ ,Allah ﻟَ ْﻢ َﻳْﻤ َﺴ ْﺴُﻬ ْﻢ ُﺳ ٌﻮء and no harm touched them.” lam yamsas-hum s£'un َﻣﺎ َﺷ َﺎء ﱠﭐﻟﻠ ُﻪ Only that which Allah wills shall come to pass. m¡ sh¡'a all¡hu There is neither strength nor power save with l¡ ¦awla wa l¡ quwwata ill¡ bill¡hi َﻻ َﺣْﻮ َﻝ َﻭ َﻻ ُﻗﱠﻮَﺓ ﺇِ ﱠﻻ ﺑِ ﱠﭑﻟﻠِﻪ .Allah Only that which Allah, but not people, wills m¡ sh¡'a all¡hu l¡ m¡ sh¡'a alnn¡su َﻣﺎ َﺷ َﺎء ﱠﭐﻟﻠ ُﻪ َﻻ َﻣﺎ َﺷ َﺎء ﱠﭐﻟﻨ ُﺎﺱ .shall come to pass Only that which Allah wills shall come to pass m¡ sh¡'a all¡hu wa in kariha alnn¡su َﻣﺎ َﺷ َﺎء ﱠﭐﻟﻠ ُﻪ َﻭﺇِ ْﻥ َﻛِﺮَﻩ ﱠﭐﻟﻨ ُﺎﺱ .even if people detest it َﺣ ْﺴِﺒ َﻲ ﱠﭐﻟﺮ ﱡﺏ ِﻣ َﻦ ﭐﻟَْﻤْﺮﺑُﻮﺑِ َﻴـﻦ Sufficient for me is the Lord against the lorded. ¦asbiya alrrabbu mina almarb£b¢na Sufficient for me is the Creator against the ¦asbiya alkh¡liqu mina almakhl£q¢na َﺣ ْﺴِﺒ َﻲ ﭐﻟَْﺨﺎﻟِ ُﻖ ِﻣ َﻦ ﭐﻟَْﻤ ْﺨُﻠ ِﻮﻗ َﻴـﻦ .creatures Sufficient for me is the Sustainer against the ¦asbiya alrr¡ziqu mina almarz£q¢na َﺣ ْﺴِﺒ َﻲ ﱠﭐﻟﺮ ِﺍﺯ ُﻕ ِﻣ َﻦ ﭐﻟَْﻤْﺮُﺯ ِﻭﻗ َﻴـﻦ .sustained Sufficient for me is Allah, the Lord of the ¦asbiya all¡hu rabbu al`¡lam¢na َﺣ ْﺴِﺒ َﻲ ﱠﭐﻟﻠ ُﻪ َﺭ ﱡﺏ ﭐﻟَْﻌﺎﻟَِﻤ َﻴـﻦ .worlds َﺣ ْﺴِﺒﻲ َﻣ ْﻦ ُﻫَﻮ َﺣ ْﺴِﺒﻲ ¢Sufficient for me is He Who is sufficient for me. ¦asb¢ man huwa ¦asb Sufficient for me is He Who has been always ¦asb¢ man lam yazal ¦asb¢ َﺣ ْﺴِﺒﻲ َﻣ ْﻦ ﻟَ ْﻢ َﻳَﺰ ْﻝ َﺣ ْﺴِﺒﻲ .sufficient for me Sufficient for me is He Who had been since ¦asb¢ man k¡na mudh kuntu lam yazal ¦asb¢ َﺣ ْﺴِﺒﻲ َﻣ ْﻦ َﻛ َﺎﻥ ُﻣ ْﺬ ُﻛْﻨ ُﺖ ﻟَ ْﻢ َﻳَﺰ ْﻝ َﺣ ْﺴِﺒﻲ .eternity and still sufficient for me َﺣ ْﺴِﺒ َﻲ ﱠﭐﻟﻠ ُﻪ َﻻ ﺇِٰﻟَﻪ ﺇِ ﱠﻻ ُﻫَﻮ Allah suffices me. There is no god save Him. ¦asbiya all¡hu l¡ il¡ha ill¡ huwa“ َﻋَﻠْﻴِﻪ َﺗَﻮﱠﻛْﻠ ُﺖ In Him have I put my trust, `alayhi tawakkaltu َﻭُﻫَﻮ َﺭ ﱡﺏ ﭐﻟَْﻌْﺮ ِﺵ ﭐﻟَْﻌ ِﻈ ِﻴﻢ and He is the Lord of the Tremendous Throne.” wa huwa rabbu al`arshi al`a¨¢mi

It is written Zayn al Muttaqin that the following multi purpose DUA'A was brought by Jibrail to the Holy Prophet and said: Whoever prays it after Fajar salat and also keeps it on the body as a ta'wid' receives the following benefits:-(i) protection from death by accident; (ii) exemption from the questioning by munkar and nakir in the grave; (iii) relief from the fright of abandonment and melancholy in the grave; (iv) diseases will be cured;(v) safe from oppression and exploitation;(vi) the right gates from the heaven will be thrown open for those who recite this dua'a: َﻻ ِاٰ َ ِا ﻻ ﷲ اﻟْ ِﻠﯿ ُﻞ اﻟْﺠﺒﺎر .There is no god save Allah, the glorious, the supreme ُ َ ْ َ ُ .There is no god save Allah, the mighty, the oft forgiving َ ﻻ ِاٰ َ ِا ﻻ ُﷲ اﻟْ َﻌ ِﺰْ ُﺰ اﻟْ َﻐﻔ ُﺎر .There is no god save Allah, the one, the dominating َ ﻻ ِاٰ َ ِا ﻻ ﷲ اﻟْﻮ ِا ُﺪ اﻟْ َﻘﻬﺎر ,There is no god save Allah, the single who has no associate, the only god ُ َ ُ .we surrender ourselves to his will َ ﻻ ِاٰ َ ِا ﻻ ُﷲ َو ْ َﺪ ٗﻩ َﻻ َ ِﴍﯾْ َﻚ َٗ ِاٰﻟﻬًﺎ َو ِا ًﺪا َو َ ْﳓ ُﻦ َٗ ُﻣ ْﺴ ِﻠ ُﻤ ْﻮ َن َ ﻻ ِاٰ َ ِا ﻻ ﷲ ﻣﺤﻤ ٌﺪ رﺳﻮ ُل ِﷲ ِﲇ وِﱄ ِﷲ There is no god save Allah, Muhammad is the messenger of Allah, Ali is the ُ ُ َ َ ُ ْ َ َ .vicegerent of Allah َ و َﺻ ﲇ ُﷲ َ ٰﲇ َ ْ ِﲑ َﻠْ ِﻘ ٖﻪ َو َﻣ ْﻈ ِﻬَﺮ ﻟُ ْﻄ ِﻔ ٖﻪ ُﻣ َﺤ ﻤ ٍﺪ َو ٰاِ ٖ َا ْ َﲨ ِﻌ ْ َﲔ ا ﻟﻄ ِّﯿِﺒ ْ َﲔ اﻟﻄ ِﺎﻫﺮﻦ ِﺮْ َﲪ ِﺘ َﻚ َارﺣﻢ اﻟﺮ ِ ِاﲪ ْﲔ ﺣﺴﺎ ﷲ و ِﻧﻌﻢ اﻟْﻮ ِﻛﯿ ُﻞ ِﻧﻌﻢ اﻟْﻤﻮ ٰﱄ و ,Blessing of Allah be on his best creation, the manifestation of his pleasure ِْ َ َ َ ْ َ َ َ َ ْ ُ َ ُ َ ْ َ َ ْ ْ َ َ ْ َ Muhammad and all his pure, pious and clean children, on account of your ِﻧ ْﻌ َﻢ اﻟﻨ ِﺼ ْ ُﲑ. mercy, O the most merciful. Allah is sufficient for us, he is the best supporter, the best master, the best helper.

ﻱَﺍ َﻓﱠﺘ ُﺎﺡ (Keep right hand on the chest & recite 70 times :- "Ya Fattahu" (O Opener

Halqam asked Imam Jafar Sadiq (a.s.) , ‘ Ya Ibne Rasool Allah (a.s)! Teach me a supplication that will be beneficial for me now and also in the Hereafter.” The Imam said, “ After the Fajr prayer, till the dawn, recite the following:

Subhan allahil azeeme wa behamdehe astaghfirallaha wa asalahu min fazlehi

It is narrated from Imam Mohammed Baqir (a.s.) that one should recite the following invocation in the mornings

Asbahto billahi moomenan ala deene Muhammadin wa sunnatehi wa

deenil ausiae wa sunnatehim aamanto besirrehim wa alniyatehim wa

shahedehim wa ghayebehim wa aaoozu billahi mimma asta aaza minhu

rasoolillahi sal allaho alaihi wa aalehi wa alal ausiyae salawaat ullahi

alaihim wa arghub ilallahi feeha raghebu ilaihi wa la haula wa la

quwwata illa billahi.

Holy Prophets duas after Fajr Prayer From Mufid al-Dun in al-Majalis: Narrated from Abu Barzah al-Aslami from his father who said: When the Noble Prophet (saws) had offered the Fajr Prayer, he raised his voice until his companions could hear him, and said:

ٰ O Allah (saw) Set right for me the religion that You have made a safeguard for me ﺃَ ّﻟﻠُﻬ ﱠﻢ ﺃَ ْﺻِﻠ ْﺢ ﻟِﻲ ِﺩﻳْ ِـﻨﻲ ﺍﻟﱠِﺬﻱ َﺟَﻌْﻠَﺘ ُﻪ ﻟِﻲ ِﻋ ْﺼَﻤًﺔ. َ .[three times] َ ٰ َ ﺃ ّﻟﻠُﻬ ﱠﻢ ﺃ ْﺻِﻠ ْﺢ ﻟِﻲ ُﺩﻧْ َـﻴ َﺎﻱ ﺍﻟﱠِﺘﻲ َﺟَﻌْﻠ َﺖ ِﻓ َﻴﻬﺎ َﻣَﻌ ِﺎﺷﻲ. .[O Allah! Set right for me this world that You have made me live in [three times َ ّٰ َ ﱠ ْ َ O Allah! Set right for me my hereafter that you have made my place of return [three ﺃﻟﻠُﻬ ﱠﻢ ﺃ ْﺻِﻠ ْﺢ ﻟِﻲ ِﺁﺧَﺮِﺗ َﻲ ﺍﻟِﺘﻲ َﺟَﻌﻠ َﺖ ﺇِﻟْﻴَﻬﺎ َﻣْﺮ َﺟِﻌﻲ. .[times ٰ ﺃَ ّﻟﻠُﻬ ﱠﻢ ﺇِﻧﱢﻲ ﺃَُﻋ ُﻮﺫ ﺑِِﺮ َﺿ َﺎﻙ ِﻣ ْﻦ َﺳ َﺨ ِﻄ َﻚ، َﻭﺃَُﻋ ُﻮﺫ ﺑَِﻌْﻔِﻮ َﻙ ِﻣ ْﻦ O Allah! I seek refuge with Your pleasure from Your ire and I seek refuge with Your forgiveness from Your wrath [three times]. ﻧِْﻘَﻤِﺘ َﻚ. O Allah! I seek refuge with You – nobody can deny to the one whom You have ٰ given, and nobody can give to the one whom You have denied, and nobody’s ﺃَ ّﻟﻠُﻬ ﱠﻢ ﺇِﻧﱢﻲ ﺃَُﻋ ُﻮﺫ ﺑِ َﻚ َﻻ َﻣﺎﻧِ َﻊ ﻟَِﻤﺎ ﺃَْﻋ َﻄ ْـﻴ َﺖ َﻭ َﻻ ُﻣْﻌ ِﻄ َﻲ ﻟَِﻤﺎ َﻣَﻨْﻌ َﺖ efforts come to fruition without You. َﻭ َﻻ َﻳْﻨَﻔ ُﻊ َﺫﺍ ﺍﻟَْﺠ ﱢﺪ ِﻣْﻨ َﻚ ﺍﻟَْﺠ ﱡﺪ. From al-Qutb in his Da’awat: When the Noble Prophet (saws) "Holy Prophet" had offered the morning prayer he said: ٰ ﺃَ ّﻟﻠَﻬ ﱠﻢ َﻣﱢﺘْﻌِﻨـﻲ ﺑِ َﺴْﻤِﻌﻲ َﻭ ﺑَ َﺼِﺮﻱ َﻭ ْﺍﺟَﻌْﻠُﻬَﻤﺎ ﺍﻟَْﻮ ِﺍﺭَﺛْﻴ ِﻦ ِﻣﱢﻨﻲ َﻭ ﺃَِﺭﻧِـﻲ O Allah (saws) ! Grant me the use of my hearing and sight and let them stay with me till my death and show me the destruction of my enemies. َﺛ ِﺎﺭﻱ ِﻣ ْﻦ َﻋ ُﺪﱢﻭﻱ

From Sayyid Ibn Tawus in al-Iqbal: Narrated from Jafar ibn Muhammad (saws) "Muhammad" from his father who said in a hadith: When the Noble Prophet (saws) "Holy Prophet" had completed his morning prayer, he would (continue to) face the Qiblah until sunrise, invoking Allah (swt) At this time, Ali (saws) ibn Abu Talib would come forward and sit behind the Noble Prophet and the people would come to seek permission to ask for their needs, and this is what the Prophet of Allah (saws) "Prophet of Allah" had instructed them to do. In al-Faqih: The Noble Prophet (saws) used to say after the Fajr prayer: ٰ ﺃَ ّﻟﻠُﻬﻢ ﺇِﻧﱢﻲ ﺃَُﻋ ُﻮﺫ ﺑِ َﻚ ِﻣ َﻦ ﺍﻟَْﻬﻢ َﻭﺍﻟْ ُﺤَﺰ ِﻥ، َﻭ َﺍﻟﻌ ْﺠِﺰ َﻭﺍﻟَْﻜﺴ ِﻞ، َﻭﺍﻟْﺒ ْﺨ ِﻞ ,O Allah (saws) ! I seek protection with You from grief and sorrow ﱠ ﱢ ْ ُ weakness and laziness, miserliness and cowardice, turning away from ﻭﺍﻟْﺠﺒﻦ، ﻭ َﺿْﻠﻊ ﺍﻟﺪﻳﻦ ﻭَﻏَﻠﺒِﺔ ﺍﻟﺮﺟ ِﺎﻝ، ﻭﺑﻮ ِﺍﺭ َﺍﻷﻳﻢ ﻭﺍﻟَْﻐْﻔَﻠِﺔ، the truth and idle talk of men, wasting time and negligence, vileness and َ ُ ْ ِ َ ِ ﱢ ِ َ َ ﱢ َ َََ ﱠ ِ َ .cruelty, destitution and poverty َﻭ ﱢﺍﻟﺬﻟﱠِﺔ َﻭﺍﻟَْﻘ ْﺴَﻮِﺓ، َﻭﺍﻟَْﻌْﻴَﻠِﺔ َﻭﺍﻟَْﻤ ْﺴ َﻜَﻨِﺔ. َ And I seek protection with You from the self that never gets satisfied, the َ ﻭﺃُﻋ ُﻮﺫ ﺑِ َﻚ ِﻣ ْﻦ ﻧَْﻔ ٍﺲ َﻻ َﺗ ْﺸ َـﺒ ُﻊ َﻭِﻣ ْﻦ َﻗْﻠ ٍﺐ َﻻ َﻳ ْﺨ َﺸ ُﻊ، َﻭِﻣ ْﻦ َﻋْﻴ ٍﻦ heart that does not humble itself, the eye that does not shed tears, the supplication that is not heard, the prayer that does not benefit. َﻻ َﺗﺪﻣﻊ، ﻭِﻣﻦ ﺩﻋ ٍﺎء َﻻ ﻳﺴﻤﻊ، ﻭِﻣﻦ ﺻ َﻼٍﺓ َﻻ َﺗْﻨَﻔﻊ، ْ َ ُ َ ْ ُ َ ُ ْ َ ُ َ ْ َ ُ َ ﻭﺃَُﻋ ُﻮﺫ ﺑِ َﻚ َﻣ ْﻦ ﺇِْﻣَﺮ ٍﺃﺓ ﺗُ َﺸﱢﻴُﺒِﻨﻲ َﻗْﺒ َﻞ ﺃََﻭ َﺍﻥ َﻣ ِﺸ ِﻴﺒﻲ، َﻭﺃَُﻋ ُﻮﺫ ﺑِ َﻚ And I seek protection with You from a woman who makes me old before my time, and I seek protection with You from a son who subjugates me, ِﻣ ْﻦ َﻭﻟٍَﺪ َﻳ ُﻜ ُﻮﻥ َﻋَﻠﻲ َﺭ ﺑﺎ، َﻭﺃَُﻋ ُﻮﺫ ﺑِ َﻚ ِﻣ ْﻦ َﻣ ٍﺎﻝ َﻳ ُﻜ ُﻮﻥ َﻋَﻠﻲ َﻋ َﺬﺍﺑﴼ، and I seek protection with You from wealth that is a torment for me, and I ﱠ ﱠ seek protection from the deceiver who conceals any good that he sees َﻭﺃَُﻋ ُﻮﺫ ﺑِ َﻚ ِﻣ ْﻦ َﺻ ِﺎﺣ ِﺐ َﺧ ِﺪ َﻳﻌٍﺔ، ﺇِ ْﻥ َﺭﺃﻯ َﺣ َﺴَﻨًﺔ َﺩَﻓَﻨَﻬﺎ، َﻭﺇِ ْﻥ َﺭﺃﻯ .and propagates any evil that he sees َ O Allah! Do not let an insolent one ever do me a favor and do not make َﺳﱢﻴَﺌًﺔ ﺃْﻓ َﺸ َﺎﻫﺎ. .him expect anything from me ٰ ﺃَ ّﻟﻠُﻬ ﱠﻢ َﻻ َﺗ ْﺠَﻌ ْﻞ ﻟَِﻔ ِﺎﺟٍﺮ َﻋَﻠ ﱠﻲ َﻳ ْﺪﴽ َﻭ َﻻ ِﻣﱠﻨًﺔ. At sunrise . In Ibn Tawus Muhsabat al-Nafs, from the book of al-Rabi’ from "Muhammad" al-Mustakin: In his narration from ‘Abu Jafar D who said: When the redness of the sun reached the peak of the mountain, tears would flow from the "Holy Prophet" ’s eyes and he would say: َ ٰ َ َ O "Allah" ! The day has come while my oppression has sought refuge in ﺃ ّﻟﻠُﻬ ﱠﻢ ﺃﻣﺴﻰ ُﻇْﻠِﻤﻲ ُﻣ ْﺴَﺘ ِﺠﻴﺮﴽ ﺑَِﻌْﻔِﻮ َﻙ، َﻭﺃْﻣ َﺴ ْﺖ ُﺫﻧُﻮﺑِﻲ ُﻣ ْﺴَﺘ ِﺠﻲﺭﺍً Your Forgiveness, and my sins have sought refuge in Your Pardon, my fear has sought refuge in Your Security, my weakness has sought refuge ﺑَِﻤْﻐِﻔَﺮِﺗ َﻚ، َﻭﺃَْﻣﺴﻰ َﺧْﻮِﻓﻲ ُﻣ ْﺴَﺘ ِﺠﻴﺮﴽ ﺑَِﺄْﻣِﻨ َﻚ، َﻭﺃَْﻣﺴﻰ َﺿْﻌِﻔﻲ ُﻣ ْﺴَﺘ ِﺠﻴﺮﴽ in Your Strength and my transient existence has sought refuge in Your Everlasting Existence. َ َ Grant me well-being, and cover me with Your Mercy, and honor me with ﺑُِﻘﱠﻮِﺗ َﻚ، َﻭﺃْﻣﺴﻰ َﻭ ْﺟِﻬ َﻲ ﺍﻟَْﺒﺎﻟِ َﻲ ﺍﻟَْﻔﺎﻧِﻲ ُﻣ ْﺴَﺘ ِﺠﻴﺮﴽ ﺑَِﻮ ْﺟِﻬ َﻚ ﺍﻟَْﺪﺍﺋِِﻢ ﺍﻟَْﺒ ِﺎﻗﻲ، Your Nobleness, and keep me safe from the evil of Your creation, from the jinn and man. O Allah! O Compassionate! O Merciful! ﺃَﻟِْﺒ ْﺴِﻨﻲ َﻋ ِﺎﻓَﻴَﺘ َﻚ، َﻭَﻏ ﱢﺸِﻨﻲ ﺑَِﺮ ْﺣَﻤِﺘ َﻚ، َﻭ َﺟﱢﻠْﻠِﻨﻲ َﻛَﺮ َﺍﻣَﺘ َﻚ، َﻭِﻗِﻨﻲ َﺷﱠﺮ ٰ َﺧْﻠِﻘ َﻚ ِﻣ َﻦ ﺍﻟِْﺠ ﱢﻦ َﻭ ِﺍﻹﻧْ ِﺲ َ ﻳـﺎ ّﺍﻟﻠ ُﻪ َﻳﺎ َﺭ ْﺣ ٰﻤ ُﻦ َﻳﺎ َﺭ ِﺣ ُﻴﻢ.

It is also narrated from the Prophet of Allah (a.s.) that one who recites the following supplication before the sunrise, an angel will take it on its wings and go to the Firmament . When it arrives there, the other angels ask him what it was carrying. It says that it was carrying the supplication of a momin. The angels then pray to Allah for the acceptance of the momin’s supplication. Similarly all the angels and the people of the Firmament will pray on his behalf. This supplication is treasured with the record of the good deeds of the Momin.:- Allaho akbar Allaho akbar kabeeran wa subhan allahi bukratan wa aseela walhamdulillahi rabbil aalameena kateeran la shareeka lahu wa salallaho ala Mohammedin wa aalehi. Subsequent to the Dawn (fajr) Prayer, say the following prayer, as quoted from Mi¥bah al-Mutahajjid: O Allah, send blessings to Mu¦ammad and the all¡humma ¥alli `al¡ mu¦ammadin wa ¡li ﺍَ ﱠﻟﻠُﻬ ﱠﻢ َﺻ ﱢﻞ َﻋﻠ ٰﻰ ُﻣ َﺤﱠﻤﺪ َﻭ ِﺁﻝ ُﻣ َﺤﱠﻤﺪ Household of Mu¦ammad mu¦ammadin ْ -and guide me, by Your permission, to the right w¡hdin¢ lim¡ ukhtulifa f¢hi mina al¦aqqi bi َﻭ ْﭐﻫ ِﺪﻧِﻲ ﻟَِﻤﺎ ْﭐﺧُﺘِﻠ َﻒ ِﻓ ِﻴﻪ ِﻣ َﻦ َﭐﻟﺤ ﱢﻖ ﺑِِﺈﺫﻧِ َﻚ about which discrepancies have taken place. idhnika Verily, You guide him whom You wish to a innaka tahd¢ man tash¡'u il¡ ¥ir¡§in mustaq¢min ﺇِﻧﱠ َﻚ َﺗْﻬﺪﻱ َﻣ ْﻦ َﺗ َﺸ ُﺎء ﺇِﻟَ ٰﻰ ِﺻَﺮ ٍﺍﻁ ُﻣ ْﺴَﺘِﻘ ٍﻴﻢ .straight path

Again, repeat the following invocation ten times: O Allah, bless Mu¦ammad and the Household all¡humma ¥alli `al¡ mu¦ammadin wa ¡li ﺍَ ﱠﻟﻠُﻬ ﱠﻢ َﺻ ﱢﻞ َﻋَﻠ ٰﻰ ُﻣ َﺤﱠﻤ ٍﺪ َﻭ ِﺁﻝ ُﻣ َﺤﱠﻤ ٍﺪ of Mu¦ammad, mu¦ammadin ﭐﻻْﻭ ِﺻَﻴ ِﺎء ﱠﭐﻟﺮ ِﺍﺿ َﻴـﻦ ﭐﻟَْﻤْﺮ ِﺿﱢﻴ َﻴﻦ the consenting and pleased Successors, al-aw¥y¡'i alrr¡¤¢na almar¤iyy¢na ﺑِﺎْﻓ َﻀ ِﻞ َﺻَﻠَﻮ ِﺍﺗ َﻚ with the best of Your blessings, bi-af¤ali ¥alaw¡tika َﻭﺑَ ِﺎﺭ ْﻙ َﻋَﻠْﻴِﻬ ْﻢ ﺑِﺎْﻓ َﻀ ِﻞ ﺑََﺮَﻛ ِﺎﺗ َﻚ and confer upon them the best of your favors. wa b¡rik `alayhim bi-af¤ali barak¡tika َﻭ ﱠﭐﻟﺴ َﻼ ُﻡ َﻋَﻠْﻴِﻬ ْﻢ Peace be upon them walssal¡mu `alayhim َﻭَﻋ ٰﻠﻰ ﺍْﺭَﻭ ِﺍﺣِﻬ ْﻢ َﻭ ﺍ ْﺟ َﺴ ِﺎﺩِﻫ ْﻢ and their souls and bodies. wa `al¡ arw¡¦ihim wa ajs¡dihim َﻭَﺭ ْﺣَﻤ ُﺔ ﱠﭐﻟﻠِﻪ َﻭﺑََﺮَﻛﺎﺗُُﻪ £Allah’s mercy and blessings be upon them. wa ra¦matu all¡hi wa barak¡tuh Also, say the following:

َ ﱠ َ َ O Allah, (please) make me live carrying the ﺍﻟﻠُﻬ ﱠﻢ ﺍ ْﺣِﻴِﻨﻲ َﻋﻠ ٰﻰ َﻣﺎ ﺍ ْﺣَﻴْﻴ َﺖ َﻋﻠْﻴِﻪ َﻋِﻠ ﱡﻲ all¡humma a¦yin¢ `al¡ m¡ a¦iyayta `alayhi conducts on which You made `Al¢ the son of `aliyya bna ab¢ §¡libin ﺑْ ُﻦ ﺍﺑِﻲ َﻃﺎﻟِ ٍﺐ Ab£-±¡lib live

َ َ and make me die on the principles for which َﻭ ﺍِﻣْﺘِﻨﻲ َﻋﻠ ٰﻰ َﻣﺎ َﻣ َﺎﺕ َﻋﻠْﻴِﻪ َﻋِﻠ ﱡﻲ ُﺑﻦ ﺍﺑِﻲ wa amitn¢ `al¡ m¡ m¡ta `alayhi `aliyyu bnu `Al¢ the son of Ab£-±¡lib—peace be upon him ab¢ §¡libin `alayhi alssal¡mu َﻃﺎﻟِ ٍﺐ َﻋَﻠْﻴِﻪ ﱠﭐﻟﺴ َﻼ ُﻡ .died— Also, repeat each of the following 10 statements 10 times or better one hundred times: Mp3 (1) I pray the forgiveness of Allah and I repent astaghfiru all¡ha wa at£bu ilayhi ﺍ ْﺳَﺘْﻐِﻔُﺮ ﱠﭐﻟﻠَﻪ َﻭ ﺍﺗُ ُﻮﺏ ﺇِﻟَْﻴِﻪ .before Him ﺍ ْﺳﺎ ُﻝ ﱠﭐﻟﻠَﻪ ﭐﻟَْﻌ ِﺎﻓَﻴَﺔ I beseech Allah for good health. as'alu all¡ha al`¡fiyata (2) ﺍ ْﺳَﺘ ِﺠ ُﻴـﺮ ﺑِ ﱠﭑﻟﻠِﻪ ِﻣ َﻦ ﱠﭐﻟﻨ ِﺎﺭ I seek Allah’s protection against Hellfire. astaj¢ru bill¡hi mina alnn¡ri (3) َﻭ ﺍ ْﺳﺎﻟُُﻪ ﭐﻟَْﺠﱠﻨَﺔ I ask Him for Paradise. wa as'aluh£ aljannata (4) ﺍ ْﺳﺎ ُﻝ ﱠﭐﻟﻠَﻪ ﭐﻟْ ُﺤ َﻮﺭ ﭐﻟِْﻌ َﻴـﻦ I ask Allah for the Paradisiacal Women. as'alu all¡ha al¦£ra al`¢na (5) (6) There is no god save Allah the King and ٰ l¡ il¡ha ill¡ all¡hu almaliku al¦aqqu almub¢nu َﻻ ﺇِﻟَﻪ ﺇِ ﱠﻻ ﱠﭐﻟﻠ ُﻪ ﭐﻟَْﻤِﻠ ُﻚ ﭐﻟَْﺤ ﱡﻖ ﭐﻟُْﻤ ُﺒﻴﻦ .evident Truth (7) S£rah al-Taw¦¢d Sura tawhid (8) May Allah send blessings to Mu¦ammad ¥all¡ all¡hu `al¡ mu¦ammadin wa ¡li َﺻﱠﻠ ٰﻰ ﱠﭐﻟﻠ ُﻪ َﻋَﻠ ٰﻰ ُﻣ َﺤﱠﻤﺪ َﻭ ِﺁﻝ ُﻣ َﺤﱠﻤﺪ and the Household of Mu¦ammad. mu¦ammadin ﺳﺒﺤﺎﻥ ﱠﭐﻟﻠِﻪ ﻭﭐﻟْﺤﻤ ُﺪ ﻟِﱠﻠِﻪ ﻭ َﻻ ﺇِٰﻟَﻪ ﺇِ ﱠﻻ ﱠﺍﻟﻠ ُﻪ ُ ْ َ َ َ َ ْ َ All glory be to Allah, all praise be to Allah, sub¦¡na all¡hi wal¦amdu lill¡hi (9) there is no god save Allah,Allah is the Greatest, َﻭ ﱠﭐﻟﻠﻪ ُﺍْﻛَﺒُﺮ wa l¡ il¡ha ill¡ all¡hu wall¡hu akbaru and there is neither might nor power save with wa l¡ ¦awla wa l¡ quwwata ill¡ bill¡hi al`aliyyi Allah, the All-high and All-great. al`a¨¢mi َﻭ َﻻ َﺣْﻮ َﻝ َﻭ َﻻ ُﻗﱠﻮَﺓ ﺇِ ﱠﻻ ﺑِ ﱠﭑﻟﻠِﻪ ﭐﻟَْﻌِﻠ ﱢﻲ ﭐﻟَْﻌ ِﻈ ِﻴﻢ

ﱠ َ َ َ َ ﱠ ﱠ Only that which Allah wills shall come to (10) َﻣﺎ َﺷ َﺎء ﭐﻟﻠ ُﻪ ﻛ َﺎﻥ َﻭﻻ َﺣْﻮﻝ َﻭﻻ ُﻗﱠﻮَﺓ ﺇِﻻ ﺑِﭑﻟﻠِﻪ ¡m¡ sh¡'a all¡hu k¡na wa l¡ ¦awla wa l pass and there is neither might nor power save quwwata ill¡ bill¡hi al`aliyyi al`a¨¢mi ﭐﻟَْﻌِﻠ ﱢﻲ ﭐﻟَْﻌ ِﻈ ِﻴﻢ .with Allah, the All-high and All-great

O Allah, I have begun this morning seeking a¥ba¦tu all¡humma mu`ta¥iman bidhim¡mika refuge with Your invulnerable security alman¢`i ﺍ ْﺻَﺒ ْﺤ ُﺖ ﱠﭐﻟﻠُﻬ ﱠﻢ ُﻣْﻌَﺘ ِﺼﻤﴼ ﺑِِﺬَﻣ ِﺎﻣ َﻚ ﭐﻟَْﻤِﻨ ِﻴﻊ ﭐﻟﱠِﺬﻱ َﻻ ﻳُ َﻄ َﺎﻭ ُﻝ َﻭ َﻻ ﻳُ َﺤ َﺎﻭ ُﻝ that is neither touched nor caught alladh¢ l¡ yu§¡walu wa l¡ yu¦¡walu against the evil of all oppressive and min sharri kulli gh¡shimin wa §¡riqin ِﻣ ْﻦ َﺷﱢﺮ ُﻛ ﱢﻞ َﻏ ِﺎﺷ ٍﻢ َﻭَﻃ ِﺎﺭ ٍﻕ domineering ones from among all Your animate and inanimate min s¡'iri man khalaqta wa m¡ khalaqta ِﻣ ْﻦ َﺳﺎﺋِِﺮ َﻣ ْﻦ َﺧَﻠْﻘ َﺖ َﻭَﻣﺎ َﺧَﻠْﻘ َﺖ creatures ِﻣ ْﻦ َﺧْﻠِﻘ َﻚ ﱠﭐﻟﺼ ِﺎﻣ ِﺖ َﻭ ﱠﭐﻟﻨ ِﺎﻃ ِﻖ both the silent and the speaking; min khalqika al¥¥¡miti walnn¡§iqi and being in protection against all terrifying f¢ junnatin min kulli makh£fin ﻓﻲ ُﺟﱠﻨٍﺔ ِﻣ ْﻦ ُﻛ ﱢﻞ َﻣ ُﺨ ٍﻮﻑ ;things ﺑِِﻠَﺒ ٍﺎﺱ َﺳﺎﺑَِﻐٍﺔ and being in the complete garb bilib¡sin s¡bighatin of my loyalty to the Household of Your wa l¡'i ahli bayti nabiyyika َﻭ َﻻِء ﺍْﻫ ِﻞ ﺑَْﻴ ِﺖ ﻧَِﺒﱢﻴ َﻚ ;Prophet and veiling myself against all those who intend mu¦tajiban min kulli q¡¥idin l¢ il¡ adhiyyatin ُﻣ ْﺤَﺘ ِﺠﺒﴼ ِﻣ ْﻦ ُﻛ ﱢﻞ َﻗ ِﺎﺻ ٍﺪ ﻟِﻲ ﺇِ ٰﻟﻰ ﺍِﺫﱠﻳٍﺔ ,harm to me ﺑِ ِﺠ َﺪ ٍﺍﺭ َﺣ ِﺼ ٍﻴﻦ behind an impervious wall, bijid¡rin ¦a¥¢nin which is my sincerity in the profession of their al-ikhl¡¥i fil-i`tir¡fi bi¦aqqihim ِﭐﻹ ْﺧ َﻼ ِﺹ ِﻓﻲ ِﭐﻹْﻋِﺘَﺮ ِﺍﻑ ﺑِ َﺤﱢﻘِﻬ ْﻢ (Divinely commissioned) right (of leadership) َﻭ ﱠﭐﻟﺘَﻤ ﱡﺴ ِﻚ ﺑَ َﺤْﺒِﻠِﻬ ْﻢ and my adherence to their Rope, walttamassuki bi¦ablihim and bearing with certainty that the Right is m£qinan anna al¦aqqa lahum wa ma`ahum ُﻣ ِﻮﻗﻨﴼ ﺍ ﱠﻥ ﭐﻟَْﺤ ﱠﻖ ﻟَُﻬ ْﻢ َﻭَﻣَﻌُﻬ ْﻢ ,theirs, with them َﻭ ِﻓﻴﻬ ْﻢ َﻭﺑِِﻬ ْﻢ in them, and amid them. wa f¢him wa bihim ﺍَﻭﺍﻟِﻲ َﻣ ْﻦ َﻭﺍﻟَْﻮﭐ I thus accede to those whom they accept uw¡l¢ man w¡law َﻭﺍ َﺟﺎﻧِ ُﺐ َﻣ ْﻦ َﺟﺎﻧَُﺒﻮﭐ £and depart those whom they depart. wa uj¡nibu man j¡nab َﻓﺎِﻋ ْﺬﻧِﻲ ﺍَ ﱠﻟﻠُﻬ ﱠﻢ ﺑِِﻬ ْﻢ O Allah, protect me, in the names of them, fa-a`idhn¢ all¡humma bihim against the evil of all that which I fear, O All- min sharri kulli m¡ attaq¢hi y¡ `a¨¢mu ِﻣ ْﻦ َﺷﱢﺮ ُﻛ ﱢﻞ َﻣﺎ ﺍﱠﺗ ِﻘﻴﻪ َﻳﺎ َﻋ ِﻈ ُﻴﻢ .great

I am restraining the enemies against me َﺣ َﺠْﺰ ُﺕ ﭐﻻَﻋ ِﺎﺩ َﻱ َﻋﱢﻨﻲ ﺑَِﺒ ِﺪ ِﻳﻊ ﱠﭐﻟﺴَﻤ َﺎﻭ ِﺍﺕ ajaztu al-a`¡diya `ann¢ bibad¢`i alssam¡w¡ti¦ through the Originator of the heavens and the wal-ar¤i َﻭﭐﻻْﺭ ِﺽ ;earth َ﴿ﻭ َﺟَﻌْﻠَﻨﺎ ِﻣ ْﻦ ﺑَْﻴ ِﻦ ﺍﻳْ ِﺪﻳﻬ ِﻢ َﺳ ّﺪﴽ And We have set a bar before them inn¡ ja`aln¡ min bayni ayd¢him saddan“ َﻭِﻣ ْﻦ َﺧْﻠِﻔِﻬ ْﻢ َﺳ ّﺪﴽ and a bar behind them, wa min khalfihim saddan and (thus) have covered them so that they see fa-aghshayn¡hum fahum l¡ yub¥ir£na َﻓﺎْﻏ َﺸْﻴَﻨ ُﺎﻫ ْﻢ َﻓُﻬ ْﻢ َﻻ ﻳُْﺒ ِﺼُﺮ َﻭﻥ﴾ ”.not Imam Ja`far al-Sadiq (`a) is also reported to have said that one who desires to enjoy both the worldly life and the Next World, and one who has eye ache, should utter the following prayer after the Dawn and Sunset Prayers .recorded by Ibn Fahad al-Hilli in `Uddat al-Da`u: PDF Jpg | M4a | Mp3 | Video | Video2 |

َ ﱠ َ O Allah, I do beseech You, in the name of the right ﺍﻟﻠُﻬ ﱠﻢ ﺇِﻧﱢﻲ ﺍ ْﺳﺎﻟُﻚ ﺑِ َﺤ ﱢﻖ ُﻣ َﺤﱠﻤﺪ َﻭ ِﺁﻝ ُﻣ َﺤﱠﻤﺪ all¡humma inn¢ as'aluka bi¦aqqi mu¦ammadin wa of Mu¦ammad and the Household of Mu¦ammad ¡li mu¦ammadin `alayka َﻋَﻠْﻴ َﻚ that is incumbent upon You to send blessings to Mu¦ammad and the ¥alli `al¡ mu¦ammadin wa ¡li mu¦ammadin َﺻ ﱢﻞ َﻋَﻠ ٰﻰ ُﻣ َﺤﱠﻤﺪ َﻭ ِﺁﻝ ُﻣ َﺤﱠﻤﺪ Household of Mu¦ammad َﻭ ْﭐﺟَﻌ ِﻞ ﱡﭐﻟﻨ َﻮﺭ ِﻓﻲ ﺑَ َﺼِﺮﻱ ¢and to make light in my sight, waj`al alnn£ra f¢ ba¥ar َﻭﭐﻟَْﺒ ِﺼ َﻴـﺮَﺓ ِﻓﻲ ِﺩ ِﻳﻨﻲ ¢discerning in my religion, walba¥¢rata f¢ d¢n َﻭﭐﻟَْﻴِﻘ َﻴـﻦ ِﻓﻲ َﻗْﻠِﺒﻲ ¢conviction in my heart, wal-yaq¢na f¢ qalb َﻭﭐﻝﺇِ ْﺧ َﻼ َﺹ ِﻓﻲ َﻋَﻤِﻠﻲ ¢sincerity in my deeds, wal-ikhl¡¥a f¢ `amal َﻭ ﱠﭐﻟﺴ َﻼَﻣَﺔ ِﻓﻲ ﻧَْﻔ ِﺴﻲ ¢safety in my self, walssal¡mata f¢ nafs َﻭ ﱠﭐﻟﺴَﻌَﺔ ِﻓﻲ ِﺭْﺯِﻗﻲ ¢richness in my sustenance, walssa`ata f¢ rizq and perpetual thankfulness for You as long as you walshshukra laka abadan m¡ abqaytan¢ َﻭ ﱡﭐﻟﺸ ْﻜَﺮ ﻟَ َﻚ ﺍﺑَﺪﴽ َﻣﺎ ﺍﺑَْﻘْﻴَﺘِﻨﻲ .keep me alive Alternate translation “O Lord I ask you In the name of Muhammad and his line of Progeny To have Mercy on Muhammad and his posterity. And (through them) grant me (also) The light in my eyes, the true understanding /insight of my faith The (Divine) Certainty in my heart The sincerity in my actions and peace in my mind And vastness in the means of my living And gratitude unto You As long as you decide to keep me alive”. As recorded in al-Kafi, the Holy Prophet (sawa) taught a dua to one of his companions who had been afflicted by disease and poverty. Soon after that, the man recovered health and got rid of poverty. The supplication is this: There is neither might nor power except with َ l¡ ¦awla wa l¡ quwwata ill¡ bill¡hi َﻻ َﺣْﻮ َﻝ َﻭ َﻻ ُﻗﱠﻮَﺓ ﺇِ ﱠﻻ ﺑِ ﱠﭑﻟﻠِﻪ .Allah I put my trust in the Ever-living (Lord) Who never tawakkaltu `al¡ al¦ayyi alladh¢ l¡ yam£tu dies. َﺗَﻮﱠﻛْﻠ ُﺖ َﻋَﻠ ٰﻰ ﭐﻟَْﺤ ﱢﻲ ﭐﻟﱠِﺬﻱ َﻻ َﻳُﻤ ُﻮﺕ All praise is due to Allah, Who has not taken a wife wal¦amdu lill¡hi alladh¢ lam yattakhidh waladan َﻭﭐﻟَْﺤْﻤ ُﺪ ﻟِﱠﻠِﻪ ﭐﻟﱠِﺬﻱ ﻟَ ْﻢ َﻳﱠﺘ ِﺨ ْﺬ َﻭﻟَﺪﴽ or a son َﻭﻟَ ْﻢ َﻳ ُﻜ ْﻦ ﻟَُﻪ َﺷِﺮ ٌﻳﻚ ِﻓﻲ ﭐﻟُْﻤْﻠ ِﻚ and Who has not have a partner in the kingdom, wa lam yakun lah£ shar¢kun f¢ almulki and Who has not have a helper to save Him from wa lam yakun lah£ waliyyun min aldhdhulli َﻭﻟَ ْﻢ َﻳ ُﻜ ْﻦ ﻟَُﻪ َﻭﻟِ ﱞﻲ ِﻣ َﻦ ﱡﭐﻟﺬ ﱢﻝ ;disgrace َﻭَﻛﱢﺒْﺮُﻩ َﺗ ْﻜِﺒﻴﺮﴽ and magnify Him with all magnificence. wa kabbirhu takb¢ran

Recite 3 times: .I seek forgiveness from the Lord (testifying) There is no God other than Him The Living and the Everlasting Of Majesty Astaghfarallah allazi la ilaha illa huwal and Splendor And I turn to Him In Repentance!” hayyal qayyumo zuljalal e wal ikraame wa aatube ilaihi

Before you move from your prayer-place, repeat the following ten times:: ْﺷَﻬ ُﺪ ْﻥ ﻻَ ﺇِٰﻟ َﻪ ﺇِﻻﱠ ﭐﻟﱠﻠ ُﻪ I bear witness that there is no god save Allah; ash-hadu an l¡ il¡ha ill¡ all¡hu (He is) One and Only; and there is no partner with َﻭ ْﺣ َﺪُﻩ ﻻَ َﺷﺮﻳ َﻚ ﻟَُﻪ £Him; wa¦dah£ l¡ shar¢ka lah ﺇِﻟَﻬﴼ َﻭﺍ ِﺣﺪﴽ a Single God; il¡han w¡¦idan َﺣﺪﴽ َﻓْﺮﺩﴽ َﺻَﻤﺪﴽ One, Unique, and eternally Besought of all. a¦adan fardan ¥amadan ﻟَْﻢ ﻳَﱠﺘ ِﺨ ْﺬ َﺻﺎ ِﺣَﺒ ًﺔ َﻭﻻَ َﻭﻟَﺪﴽ who does not beget & is no t begotten lam yattakhidh ¥¡¦ibatan wa l¡ waladan ِ ِ َ َ ْ ْ َ ْ ﻻ ا َ اﻻ ُا َو ْ َﺪ ُﻩ ﻻ َﴍ َﯾﻚ ُ ُ اﻟ ُﻤ ُ َو ُ اﻟ َﺤ ْﻤ ُﺪ There is no God except Allah, the One, without any La ilaha il Allaho wahdahu la shareeka lahu lahul“ partner. To Him belongs the Kingdom and to Him is due all mulko wa lahul hamdo yohi wa yumeeto wa yohi ُ ْﳛﲕ وﯾُﻤ ُﯿﺖ وﯾُﻤ ُﯿﺖ و ُﳛﲕ و ُﻫﻮ َ ﻻ ﯾَ ُﻤﻮ ُت ِﺑﯿ ِﺪ ِﻩ Praise. He gives life and death. In His hand is the good, wa huwa hayyun la yamooto be yadahil khaire wa َ َ َ َ َ َ and He has power over all things huwa ala kulle shaiyin qadeer اﻟْ َ ْ ُﲑ َو ُﻫ َﻮ َﲆ ُ ِّﰻ َ ْﳽ ٍء ﻗَ ٌﺪﺮ After you say the Tasl¢m statement—repeat the Takb¢r statement (i.e. all¡hu akbar; Allah is the Greatest) three times while raising your hands to the level of your ears and then say MP3

َﻻ ﺇِٰﻟَﻪ ﺇِ ﱠﻻ ﭐ ﱠﻟﻠ ُﻪ There is no god save Allah; l¡ il¡ha ill¡ all¡hu ﺇِﻟَﻬﴼ َﻭ ِﺍﺣﺪﴽ One and Only God; il¡han w¡¦idan َﻭﻧَ ْﺤ ُﻦ ﻟَُﻪ ُﻣ ْﺴِﻠُﻤ َﻮﻥ and we are submissive to Him. wa na¦nu lah£ muslim£na َﻻ ﺇِٰﻟَﻪ ﺇِ ﱠﻻ ﭐ ﱠﻟﻠ ُﻪ There is no god save Allah l¡ il¡ha ill¡ all¡hu َﻭ َﻻ ﻧَْﻌُﺒ ُﺪ ﺇِ ﱠﻻ ﺇِﱠﻳ ُﺎﻩ and we worship none save Him, wa l¡ na`budu ill¡ iyy¡hu ُﻣ ْﺨِﻠ َﺼﻴﻦ ﻟَُﻪ ﭐ ﱢﻟﺪ َﻳﻦ making our devotion sincere as in His sight, mukhli¥¢na lah£ aldd¢na َﻭﻟَْﻮ َﻛَﺮَﻩ ﭐﻟُْﻤ ْﺸِﺮُﻛ َﻮﻥ even though the polytheists may detest it. wa law kariha almushrik£na َﻻ ﺇِٰﻟَﻪ ﺇِ ﱠﻻ ﭐ ﱠﻟﻠ ُﻪ There is no god save Allah; l¡ il¡ha ill¡ all¡hu َﺭﺑﱡَﻨﺎ َﻭَﺭ ﱡﺏ ﺁﺑَﺎﺋَِﻨﺎ ﭐ ﱠﻟﻮﻟِ َﻴﻦ He is) Our Lord and the Lord of our fathers of old. rabbun¡ wa rabbu ¡b¡'in¡ al-awwal¢na) َﻻ ﺇِٰﻟَﻪ ﺇِ ﱠﻻ ﱠﺍﻟﻠ ُﻪ There is no god save Allah; l¡ il¡ha ill¡ all¡hu َﻭ ْﺣ َﺪُﻩ َﻭ ْﺣ َﺪُﻩ َﻭ ْﺣ َﺪُﻩ £Alone, alone, alone. wa¦dah£ wa¦dah£ wa¦dah ﻧَْﺠَﺰ َﻭْﻋ َﺪُﻩ £He has truly fulfilled His promise, anjaza wa`dah َﻭﻧَ َﺼَﺮ َﻋْﺒ َﺪُﻩ £granted His servant victory, wa na¥ara `abdah َﻭَﻋﱠﺰ ُﺟْﻨ َﺪُﻩ £made powerful His soldiers, wa a`azza jundah َﻭَﻫَﺰَﻡ ﭐ ْﻟﺤَﺰ َﺍﺏ َﻭ ْﺣ َﺪُﻩ £and defeated the parties alone. wa hazama al-a¦z¡ba wa¦dah َﻓَﻠ ُﻪ ﭐﻟُْﻤْﻠ ُﻚ َﻭﻟَُﻪ ﭐﻟَْﺤْﻤ ُﺪ So, sovereignty be His and praise be His. falahu almulku wa lah£ al¦amdu ﻳُ ْﺤﻴﻲ َﻭﻳُ ُﻤﻴﺖ He grants life and causes (others) to die, yu¦y¢ wa yum¢tu َﻭﻳُ ُﻤﻴﺖ َﻭﻳُ ْﺤﻴﻲ ¢and (then) causes to die and raises from the dead; wa yum¢tu wa yu¦y َﻭُﻫَﻮ َﺣ ﱞﻲ َﻻ َﻳُﻤ ُﻮﺕ while He is eternally ever-living and He never dies. wa huwa ¦ayyun l¡ yam£tu All goodness is at His Hand, biyadihi alkhayru ﺑَِﻴ ِﺪِﻩ ﭐﻟَْﺨْﻴُﺮ َﻭُﻫَﻮ َﻋَﻠ ٰﻰ ُﻛ ﱢﻞ َﺷ ْﻲء َﻗ ٌﺪﻳﺮ and He has power over all things. wa huwa `al¡ kulli shay'in qad¢run Then, say the following: ْﺳَﺘْﻐِﻔُﺮ ﱠﭐﻟﻠَﻪ ﭐﻟﱠِﺬﻱ َﻻ ﺇِٰﻟَﻪ ﺇِ ﱠﻻ ُﻫَﻮ I seek forgiveness of Allah; there is no god save Him, astaghfiru all¡ha alladh¢ l¡ il¡ha ill¡ huwa the Ever-living and Self-Subsisting; and to Him do I turn in repentance. al¦ayyu alqayy£mu wa at£bu ilayhi Then, repeat the following verses (S£rah al-¯¡ff¡t 37:180-183) three times:

Glory be to your Lord, the Lord of Honor, above sub¦¡na rabbika rabbi al-`izzati `amm¡ ُﺳْﺒ َﺤ َﺎﻥ َﺭﺑﱢ َﻚ َﺭ ﱢﺏ ﭐﻟِْﻌﱠﺰِﺓ َﻋﱠﻤﺎ َﻳ ِﺼُﻔ َﻮﻥ what they describe. ya¥if£na َﻭ َﺳ َﻼ ٌﻡ َﻋَﻠ ٰﻰ ﭐﻟُْﻤْﺮ َﺳِﻠ َﻴﻦ And peace be on the messengers. wa sal¡mun `al¡ almursal¢na And all praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the wal¦amdu lill¡hi rabbi al`¡lam¢na َﻭﭐﻟَْﺤْﻤ ُﺪ ﻟِﱠﻠِﻪ َﺭ ﱢﺏ ﭐﻟَْﻌﺎﻟَِﻤ َﻴﻦ. .worlds

Then, repeat the following prayer three times: O Allah, (Please) send blessings to Muhammad and all¡humma ¥alli `al¡ mu¦ammadin wa ¡li ﺍَ ﱠﻟﻠُﻬ ﱠﻢ َﺻ ﱢﻞ َﻋَﻠ ٰﻰ ُﻣ َﺤﱠﻤ ٍﺪ َﻭ ِﺁﻝ ُﻣ َﺤﱠﻤ ٍﺪ the Household of Muhammad, mu¦ammadin cause all my affairs to arrive at a relief, prepare for َﻭ ْﭐﺟَﻌ ْﻞ ﻟِﻲ ِﻣ ْﻦ ْﻣِﺮﻱ َﻓَﺮﺟﴼ َﻭَﻣ ْﺨَﺮﺟﴼ me a way out, waj`al l¢ min amr¢ farajan wa makhrajan ْ َ َﻭ ْﭐﺭُﺯﻗِﻨﻲ ِﻣ ْﻦ َﺣْﻴ ُﺚ ْﺣَﺘ ِﺴ ُﺐ َﻭِﻣ ْﻦ َﺣْﻴ ُﺚ ﻻ ¡and give me sustenance from whence I think and from warzuqn¢ min ¦aythu a¦tasibu wa min ¦aythu l whence I do not think. a¦tasibu ْﺣَﺘ ِﺴ ُﺐ

Qutub Rawandi reported from Imam Ali (as) that the Holy Prophet (saws) has stated, that he was afraid for him who does not remember the 4 blessings at dawn & as a result , may be snatched away from him All Praise to Allah who made Himself known to me & did not َاﻟْﺤﻤ ُﺪ ِ ِ ِا ي َﻋﺮﻓَ ﲏ ﻧَْﻔﺴ ٗ ﻪ و ﻟَﻢ ﯾ ْﱰْﻛﲏ َ ْﲻﯿﺎن اﻟْ َﻘﻠْ ِﺐ make me َ ْ ْ ِ ْ َ َ ْ َ ُ ِ ْ َ َ blind hearted َْ ِ ِ ِ َ ِ ُ ِ ٍ َ ٰ ِ All Praise to اﻟ َﺤ ْﻤ ُﺪ ا ْي َﺟ َﻌﻠِ ْﲏ ﻣ ْﻦ ا ﻣﺔ ُﻣ َﺤ ﻤﺪ َﺻﲆ ُﷲ َﻠ ْﯿﮧِ َو اﻟﮧ ٖ Allah who included me among the followers of Muhammad (saws) All Praise to Allah who has ordained my sustenance to be in HIS own hands & not in the hands of َاﻟْﺤﻤ ُﺪ ِ ِ ِاي ﺟﻌ َﻞ رزِ ْﰶ ِ ْﰲ ﯾ َﺪﯾ ِﻪ و ﻟَﻢ َ ْﳚﻌ ْﻞ رزِ ْﰶ ِﰲ َاﯾ ِﺪي اﻟﻨ ِﺎس human َ ْ ْ َ َ ِ ْ َ ْ َ ْ َ ِ ْ ْ ْ beings َْ ِ ِ ِ َ ُ َ ْ ْ َ All Praise to اﻟ َﺤ ْﻤ ُﺪ ا ْي َﺳ َﱰ ذﻧُ ْﻮ ِ ْﰊ َو ُﻋ ُﯿ ْﻮ ِ ْﰊ َو ﻟ ْﻢ ﯾَﻔ َﻀ ْﺤِ ْﲏ ﺑَْ َﲔ اﻟ َﻼِﯾ ِﻖ. Allah who has covered my sins & shortcomings & did not degrade me in the eyes of Human beings

Begin the day with the following statement: I begin this day of mine before I should forget or hurry abtati'u yawm¢ h¡dh¡ bayna yaday nisy¡n¢ wa ﺍﺑَْﺘ ِﺪ ُﺉ َﻳْﻮِﻣﻲ ٰﻫ َﺬﺍ ﺑَْﻴ َﻦ َﻳ َﺪ ْﻱ ﻧِ ْﺴَﻴﺎﻧِﻲ َﻭَﻋ َﺠَﻠِﺘﻲ ¢with: `ajalat ‘In the Name of Allah’and ‘Only what Allah wills (shall bismill¡hi ﺑِﺴ ِﻢ ﱠﭐﻟﻠِﻪﻭﻣﺎ َﺷﺎء ﱠﭐﻟﻠ ُﻪ ’.(come to pass ْ ََ َ wa m¡ sh¡'a all¡hu
