With reference to the Sth cited above, I submit that "The Handri Neeva Sujala Sravanti Project envisages drawl of 40 TMC of flood water of Krishna River form the fore shore of Srisailam Reservoir in L2O flood days during ttre period from August to November to provide irrigation facilities to an extent of 6,02,500 acres in the districts of Kurnool, Anantapurarnu, Chittoor and Kadapa besides providing drinking water facilities to a population of 33 lakhs lying in 81 Mandals enroute the canal. Water from the reservoir will be drawn when the reservoir level is +244.700 m through an approach channel and runs for a length of 554 Km/565 Km by means of lift cum gravity canal. Single Desk Approval Ref Id : SDCAD023180014 Under Phase -I, it is proposed to utilize 14 TMC of water to provide irrigation facility to an extent of 1,98,000 Acres (80,000 Acres in Kurnool District and 1,18,000 Acres in Ananthapurarnu District) with 12 Lifts together with formation of 3 reserwoirs at Pattikonda, Krishnagiri and Jeedipali upto kn 216.300 and to provide drinking water facility to 10 Lakhs people in 144 villages approx. 1.21 TMC. Phase -II starts from Jeedipalli reservoir at Km 216.300 and proposed to uttlize 26 TMC of water to provide irrigation facility to an extent of 4,04,500 Acres in Ananthapurarnu, Kadapa and Chittoor Districts with total 56 lifts in Main canal and Branch canals. The quantum of water allocated to HNSS Project, Phase-II is 24 TMC to feed the Ayacut and to cater the needs of 231akhs population and 10% i.e., 2.4 TMC may be allocated to industrial water needs. The Madakasira branch canal is an integral part of HNSS Phase-II and Gollapalli reservoir is online reservoir constructed on this branch canal to store 1.91 TMC of water to serve an ayacut of 10000 acres and MI tanks in Penukonda, Hindupur and Madakasira constituencies of Ananthapuramu district. Considering the 10% allocation for Industrial needs, the water that can be allocated is 0.191 TMC. In the reference 4th cited above Engineer-In-Chief (Irr) has informed that "Allotment from Gollapalli reservoir to Hindupur Municipality for drawl 0.64 TMC may be agreed duly terminating the drawl permission from PABR system". As per reference 3.a cited abovl (G.O.Ms.No.56) wherein Government has accorded permanent water supply of 2MLD water (0.0258 TMC per year) from Gollapalli Reservoir to M/s KIA Motors Corporation (KMC) and its associates and vendors to set up a ca-r manufacturing facility. In view of the above water allocation for M/s Andhra Pradesh Aerospace & Defence Electronics Park Private Limited, Palasamudram Village, Gorantla naandal, Ananthapuramu for a quantum of 0.045 TMC per year may be accorded from the overall quantum of water 2.4 TMC of industrial water, (IO% of. 24 TMC) under phase- II, subject to the condition, that the actual water that can be permitted is 10% of the available water during that water year as per Government norms,,.     10/31/2018 District Irrigation Profiles IRRIGATION PROFILE OF ANANTAPURAMU DISTRICT *Click here for Ayacut Map INTRODUCTION Ananthapuramu District is situated in Rayalseema region of Andhra Pradesh state and lies between 13°-40'N to 15°-15'N Latitude and 76°-50'E to 78°-30'E Longitude with a population of 40,83,315 (2011 census). One of the famous spiritual center in this district is Puttaparthi and it is 80Km. away from Ananthapuramu. The District falls partly in Krishna basin and partly in Pennar basin. The District is surrounded by Bellary, Kurnool Districts on the North, Kadapa and Kolar Districts of Karnataka on South East and North respectively. The district is principally a hot country and temperatures vary from 17°C-40°C. The important rivers flowing in the District are (1) Pennar (2) Jayamangali (3) Chitravathi (4) Vedavathi (also called Hagari), (5) Papagni, (6) Maddileru. The district head quarter is connected by S.C. Railways broad gauge railway line from Secunderabad, Guntakal, Bangalore and Bellary (Via) Guntakal to Pakala. Most of the area in this District is covered under Minor Irrigation Sources only in addition to one completed Major Irrigation Project viz., Tungabhadra Project High level canal (TBP HLC) system stage-I (A joint venture of Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh States). The Right Bank High level canal (R.B.H.L.C.) takes off from right bank of T.B. Dam and runs in Karnataka and enters in Andhra Pradesh at Km. 105.437 and contemplated to irrigate an ayacut of 2.849 Lakh acres out of this 1,45,236 acres in Ananthapuramu district and remaining is Kurnool and Kadapa District.

Important achievements since 2014: 1.1 After analyzing the deficiencies in Jalayagnam projects, Government adopted 3 pronged strategy - Water conservation, River Linkage including Completion of pending projects and Water Management including micro irrigation to achieve the vision of making the state drought proof and to provide water security to all its Citizens. To overcome spreading out of expenditure thinly over large number of projects taken up under Jalayagnam, Government prioritized certain projects which will realize maximum benefits with the available funds to complete them in a time bound manner. 1.2 An Expenditure of Rs.63,657.52 Crore is incurred in Water Resources Sector and irrigation facilities are provided to an extent of 32.02 Lakh acres including stabilization. 1.3 Polavaram Project: Government have given highest importance for the completion of the project, which is the lifeline of the state. Total Expenditure incurred is Rs. 15,363.79 Crores, out of which Rs. 10,227.92 Crores is incurred after 1.4.2014. Government of India reimbursed only Rs. 6,727.264 Cr. and Rs. 3500.66 Cr. is yet to be reimbursed. Works are in full swing and it is scheduled to supply water by gravity in next Khariff season. It is programmed to complete the project by 2019. 1.4 To realize early benefits of Polavaram Project, Government completed Patiseema lift Scheme and linked two major rivers Godavari and Krishna. During the last 4 crop seasons, 263 TMC of Godavari Water is diverted to Krishna. This facilitated commencement of khariff crop in Krishna delta in June itself, so that crop is completed by November, avoiding damages due to cyclones.

The company, as part of its public-private partnership activities, is arranging the visit. In delta districts, pulses are cultivated after harvesting of paddy in an area of 3 lakh acres with very low crop yields per acre as compared to the same crop raised in Krishna delta districts of Andhra Pradesh. In a bid to understand the Andhra Pradesh pulses cultivation methods, the exposure visit has been arranged. Scientists from Thanjavur district to take part in visit are T.Jayaraj, Director, Tamil Nadu Rice Research Institute (TRRI), Aduthurai, V.Ravi, Professor, Agronomy, TRRI, R.Panneerselvam, Professor, Agronomy, TRRI, K.Cholan, Professor, Agronomy, (Entomology), TRRI, Assistant Professors T.Ramesh and S.Vallakannan, TRRI, and T.Senguttuvan of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Needamangalam. It is the ministry’s view on the annual economic development of the country. Annual document of the Ministry of Finance, Government of India, Economic Survey, reviews the developments in the Indian economy over the previous 12 months, summarizes the performance on major development programs, and highlights the policy initiatives of the government and the prospects of the economy in the short to medium term.
