Library Student Faculty Building (LSF) First Floor

Building Location: The Library Student Faculty Building (LSF) is located in the northeast corner of campus, south of both North Drive and University Drive, and northeast of Central Drive. LSF is directly east of Schwarz Hall and northeast of the Plaza. Entrances: There are five (5) entrances into LSF.

• The Northwest Entrance (1H03) leads into the entryway. o This entrance is ADA accessible. o The entrance has both an exterior and an interior set of double doors which are separated by a vestibule. These doors open toward the outside. o This entrance has pavement leading up to it. • The Southwest Entrance (1H04) also leads into the entryway. o This entrance is ADA accessible. o The entrance has both an exterior and an interior set of double doors which are separated by a vestibule. These doors open toward the outside. o This entrance has pavement leading up to it. • The South Entrance (1S03) leads into the south stairway. It is located on the southwest corner of the building. o This entrance has pavement leading up to it. o This entrance is a double door entrance with the doors opening toward the outside. • The Southeast Entrance leads into the cafeteria. o This is a single door entrance that opens toward the outside. o This entrance has pavement leading up to it. • The Northeast Entrance (1S01) leads into the east stairway via a single door which opens toward the outside. Elevators: There is one (1) Elevator (1E01) in LSF, located off of the northeast hallway, towards the east stairway.

Stairs: There are three (3) stairways in LSF.

• The East Stairway (1S01) is located off of the northeast hallway in the northeast corner of the building. The northeast entrance also leads directly into the east stairway. • The Main Stairway (1S01) is located off of the west hallway directly across from the entryway. This stairway is an open area. Stairs going down to the ground floor are on the south side, stairs leading up to the second floor are on the north side. • The South Stairway (1S03) is located at the south end of the west hallway. There is no doorway separating the stairway from the hallway. The south entrance also leads directly into the south stairway. Restrooms: There are two (2) sets of restrooms on the first floor of LSF.

• The first set of restrooms is located off of the east end of the northwest hallway, rooms 141 and 143. o The Women’s restroom is 141. o The Men’s restroom is 143. • The second set of restrooms is located at the south end of the west hallway, rooms 125 and 127. o The Women’s restroom is room 125. o The Men’s restroom is room 127. Building layout (hallways & open areas): There are five (5) hallways and one (1) open area on the first floor of LSF. The west hallway, northwest hallway, south hallway, and central hallway all connect to form a rectangle.

• The Entryway (1H02) is an open area located in the west side of the building, running both north and south and west to east, connecting both the northwest entrance and the southwest entrance to the west hallway. • The West Hallway (1H01) runs north to south, connecting with the northwest hallway, the entryway, the main stairway, the south hallway, and the south stairway. • The South Hallway (1H01) runs west to east and connects with the west hallway, the central hallway, and the east hallway. • The Central Hallway (1H01) runs north to south, connecting with the northwest hallway, the northeast hallway, and the south hallway. • The Northwest Hallway runs west to east, connecting with the west hallway and the central hallway. • The Northeast Hallway (1S01) runs west to east, is located in the northeast corner of the building, and connects with the central hallway, the east stairway, and the northeast entrance. Room Locations: • The Dean of Students Office is room 103, located off of the entryway, across from an entrance into the Cyber Café. There is a single door opening into the office. • Career Development is room 104, located off of the entryway near the entrances. • Rooms 111 – 127 are located off of the west hallway in ascending order from north to south. • The Purdue Credit Union is room 111, located off of the west hallway, with a single door entrance opening into the room. • The Cyber Café is room 114, located off of the west hallway and the entryway. There are three (3) entrances into the café, all of which open into the café. There is a double door entrance off of the entryway, and both a double door entrance and a single door entrance off of the west hallway. • The Coffee Central Lounge Area, or South Hall, is room 120, an open area located at the intersection of the west hallway and the south hallway. • Rooms 131 – 143 are located off of the northwest hallway in ascending order from west to east. • The Conference Room is 132, located off of the northwest hallway with a single door entrance opening into the room. • Sitter Services, or the Day Care Center are rooms 139 and 135, located off of the northwest hallway. Room 139 has a double door entrance, while room 135 has a single door entrance; both doors open into the rooms. • The Community Meeting Room is 144, with double door entrances off of both the south hallway and the central hallway. All doors open into this room. • Rooms 150, and 171 – 174 are located off of the northeast hallway in ascending order west to east. • The Cafeteria is room 170, located in the southeast corner of the building, accessible from the south hallway, central hallway, the dining room, food services, and the southeast entrance, with five (5) doorway entrances. o There are three double door entrances. . One is off of the south hallway. . The second is at the corner of the south hallway and central hallway. . The third is off of the central hallway. o The fourth entrance is a single door which connects to the dining room. There is no door separating food services from the cafeteria. o The southeast entrance opens directly into the cafeteria. • The Dining Room is room 170A, located off of the northeast hallway near the northeast entrance. There are two single door entrances opening into the dining hall from the hallway, and from the cafeteria. • Food Services is rooms 171 and 172, located off of the northeast hallway and the cafeteria.
