Welcome Note
Hello! Welcome to my home. I’m so glad you decided to stay here, and I hope you have a great time in Colorado Springs and anywhere you are lucky enough to go in Colorado.
I am happy to share my home with you while you are here in Colorado and truly hope you get to enjoy it as much as I do. The views of the mountains in Colorado Springs are spectacular, and there are some fantastic places to go, things to do, memories to make.
This book contains information about our stay so you are more comfortable and know where things are in the house and to help you enjoy your stay. You should find everything that you need, but if you have a question that isn’t covered in here, please do get in touch and let me know how I can help.

HOUSE RULES: • No smoking inside house OR garage EVER. If smoking outside, butts must not be put directly disposed into trash receptacle until cooled an completely out. • Quiet hours from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. • Please report any damages that occur while you’re in residence. • No parties or large gatherings without prior notice to owner so neighbors can be notified prior. • Checkout at 11:00 a.m.
COMMUNITY RULES:
• Smoking allowed ONLY OUTSIDE (including not in garage) - please dispose of cigarettes in proper containers • If excessive noise is reported, police will be called and a fine will be assessed
PARKING:
You can park your car in the garage. The garage keypad code changes after each guest stay. You will be informed of the code upon your reservation confirmation. There is a two-car garage, but one space is available to park inside the garage. There are two more spaces in the driveway. There are three or four parking spaces directly in front of the house on the curbside of the house and another three or four spaces on the curb across the street from the house.
CHECK OUT PROCEDURES
I hope you enjoyed your stay at my home and in Colorado Springs! As a reminder, checkout is at 11:00 a.m. on the day that your booking ends. Before you leave, I request that you:
• Turn off all the lights • Set the thermostat to 65 degrees • Shut the windows and lock the doors

About Your Stay So You Are More Comfortable and Where Things Are!
NOTE: There are two pantries: The kitchen pantry (KP) and the lower pantry (LP) located in the lower living room as you come in from the garage to your right next to powder room (half bath) hallway.
Access
You can use the keycode provided on the left side OUTSIDE of EITHER GARAGE DOOR and then enter the house through the garage. The door closer INSIDE is to the right of the door as you enter the house to enter the property. The top pad is for the door to the left as you face the garage doors from inside the house; the bottom pad is for the garage door to the right as you face the garage doors coming out of the house. When you leave the house, simple select the “Enter” key and the door will close.
Air Cooler
There are two (2) room air coolers on top shelf of master closet.
Air Conditioner
Slide top right lever to COOL on thermostat and bottom right lever to AUTO. Select the “1” for HOLD and release; then select desired temp by selecting “2” until desired temperature degree appears digitally in window of thermostat.
Alarm Clocks
There is an alarm clock/radio on each dresser in each bedroom.

Game on the top shelf in master bedroom closet.
Baggies/foil/Saran wrap
Baggies/foil and Saran wrap are in the kitchen pantry.

Breakages
We understand that sometimes accidents happen! Should you break anything please let us know immediately - if it's minor we usually won't charge. If it's a larger issue (e.g. the TV screen!) we would like to agree the cost with you before you leave to avoid any issues later. Thank you!

There is a flashlight located in the kitchen in the pen/pencil holder on the counter by the sliding glass door near bar countertop and also there is a flashlight in the top drawer of every chest in each bedroom. There is also a heavy-duty flashlight located under the left side of the master bedroom bed.

32-inch with DVD player and speakers with subwoofer on top of TV dresser in master bedroom. WiFi and Satellite TV service connected.
TV – Living Room
55-inch curved screen TV with DVD player and speakers attached to adjustable arm in lower living room wall and adjusts to be seen in lower living room or from dining room table. WiFi and Satellite TV service connected.

Thermostat
The thermostat is locates at the main level on the wall at the bottom of the stairs. On the right side, select “heat” or “cool” on top. On the bottom on the right side, select “Auto.” Then select where I wrote a “1” on the key, then select the desired temperature (hot or cool) with the key I wrote a “2” on. It will take a full minute before you hear the heat or A/C kick on.
Tiki Torches for Outside
Used tiki torches are outside against the wall to the right of patio as you exit back of house. New tiki torches are in a box marked “Tiki Torches” in the garage to the left of garage refrigerator. The tiki fuel is in the garage on the floor by the torches that are in the box.
Towels
Linen closet is at top of stairs. Extra towels are in a tote in the master bedroom closet. Extra towels for the hallway upstairs bath are in the baby/toddler room chest. Kitchen towels are on the bottom shelf of the kitchen pantry (KP).
Trash Bags
Trash bags for the red kitchen trash can are on the floor of the kitchen pantry (KP) on the right.
Extra trash bags for the bath and bedroom trash receptacles should be in the bottom of each receptacle.
Big black trash bags are on the shelving in the garage to the left of the garage refrigerator and in the far left bottom cupboard left of workbench.

Umbrellas
One umbrella is hanging in the front coat closet. One is hanging by the man door coming into the house from the garage.
