Municipality of Resen

• The region of Prespa is situated in the heart of the Balkan Peninsula, around the tripoint where meet the borders of North Macedonia, Albania, and Greece.

• National Parks Galicica and Pelister, PN Ezerani

• Protected Prespa Lake – Natural monument proclaimed with law

• Unique natural island Golem Grad in Prespa Lake waters

• In the Municipality of Resen a 123 churches had been identified

• One urban and 43 rural settlements

• Three sectors ( Sector for financial affairs, Sector for legal affairs and Sector for urbanism, communal works , LED and cross border cooperation , Sectors divided in departments

• Part of Pelagonija planning region
