Officer Of The Order Of The British Empire Stops By The Flying Eye Radio Network "Politics Is The Art Of Controlling Your Environment." Hunter S. Thompson, American Philosopher

Malibu, California, July 22, 2015 - Flying Eye Radio is pleased to welcome two time Rock n Roll Hall of Fame & Songwriting Hall of Fame Inductee, Grammy Winner and Officer of the Order of the British Empire, Graham Nash. Nash is out on his first solo tour in a long time, and we were able to catch up with him during the current tour. A myriad of topics were discussed including his very first trip to America, how he feels about being an Officer of the British Empire. 2016 will see a new solo effort by Graham with a wealth of new songs, and he discusses how difficult it was to pick which ones to record. He discusses his solo tour with longtime Crosby, Stills and Nash guitarist , who has become a steady collaborator. This wide ranging interview will be airing July 23, 2015 (stream.flyingeye.com) on the Flying Eye Radio Network’s Music Gumbo hosted by Flying Eye founder Andy Goldfinger. Among the other areas covered were Graham’s first memories of music he heard as a kid, why was brought into CSN and so many other topics. While his musical legacy continues to expand with rich new music, Nash is also a renowned photographer and visual artist whose work has been shown in galleries and museums worldwide, including the Smithsonian. Graham’s passionate voice continues to be heard in support of peace, positive, social and environmental justice. The No Nukes/Musicians United for Safe Energy (MUSE) concerts he organized with and in 1979 remain seminal benefit events. In 2011, Nash was instrumental in bringing MUSE back to the forefront with a concert to benefit Japan disaster relief and groups promoting non-nuclear energy worldwide. In September 2013, Nash released his long-awaited autobiography Wild Tales, which provides a mesmorizing, no-holds-barred look through time at this remarkable career and the music that helped change a generation and a culture. It landed him on the New York Times Best Sellers list, and will be released in paperback format this fall. He is currently working on a new studio record, due out early 2016.
