Location The Plas Glyllinfon Mansion is located near the village of Llandwrog on the main A499 road, which runs between (11 miles south) and (6 miles north).

The property forms part of the Glynllinfon Estate. Situated to the north and west of the estate is the Coleg Meirion-Dwyfor Agricultural College, to the south and southwest is a public park and gardens.

Description Plas Glynllifon mansion house is a Grade I listed building that once belonged to Lord Newborough.

It was built in 1836-48 to the designs of Edward Haycock, and was later extended.

A two and three storey building with rendered and painted elevations beneath part flat and part pitched roofs. Courtyard.

We have been advised the grounds and woodland areas are circa 16 acres. There is a wooded upward sloping area to the rear, a brook running through the middle, and a level lawn area to the front. To the side is a parking area which is unlined catering for approximately 30/50 cars.

It is assumed there are rights of access over all of Glynllifon estate roads, which enable access to the property. Business The property is being sold on behalf of James Liddiment and Paul Greenhalgh, acting as Joint LPA Fixed Charge Receivers.

Over the years the mansion house has been used as a private house, and educational facility in connection to Coleg Meirion-Dwyfor Agricultural College.

The building was purchased in 2016 and works commenced to convert the property into a country house hotel and wedding venue. The owner was halfway through a substantial restoration and renovation programme, when in December 2019 the premises was placed into the hands of the LPA Fixed Charge Receivers.

This property has never traded as a hotel or restaurant.
