Exeter-West Greenwich Regional School District is seeking bids for the following:
Bid # 20-21-01 Four Wheel Drive Pickup Truck
Bids will be received at the office of the Director of Administration, 940 Nooseneck Hill Road, West Greenwich, RI 02817, until 9 a.m. prevailing time on Wednesday, February 17, 2021. Bids should be clearly marked Bid # 20-21-01 Four Wheel Drive Pickup Truck and be directed to Director of Administration. Due to the national pandemic, all bids will be opened in the presence of EWG staff only, and results will be forwarded via email to all bidders.

No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 30 calendar days subsequent to the date of the bid opening. the Exeter-West Greenwich Regional School Committee reserves the right to waive informalities and to reject any and all bids, waive any informalities in the bids received, and to accept the proposal which it deems favorable to the best interest of the school district.
SPECIFICATIONS
1. Manufacturer’s 2020 new leftover or 2021 new pickup with four- wheel drive and factory installed plow package.
2. G.V.W. Rating: Minimum eighty-six hundred (8600) pounds certified gross weight rating.
3. Front Axle Capacity: Minimum four thousand (4000) pounds. Spring capacity to equal or exceed axle capacity.
4. Rear Axle: Single wheels, standard for specified model.
5. Transmission: Heavy duty automatic with overdrive, auxiliary oil cooler. Transfer case selection: Two wheel drive high range, four wheel drive high range, four-wheel drive low range and neutral.
6. Brakes: Power assist with ABS.
7. Steering: Power assist.
8. Electrical: One twenty-amp alternator, twelve-volt battery with 455 CCA minimum.
9. Engine: Minimum five liter V8 or equivalent with standard oil and air filters.
10. Tires: All tires, including spare, shall be mud and snow type tread, non- directional design.
11. Cab: Conventional cab design, bench type high back seats with vinyl upholstery. Interior cab light, heater and defroster. Interior and upholstery color to accent with exterior color (no black accepted). Air conditioner, rubber floor mat, AM/FM radio.
12. Body: Eight (8) foot fleet-side design cargo box with tailgate.
13. Bed liner.
14. Towing package to include two-inch receiver, trailer electrical connection and transmission cooler.
15. Fisher eight (8) foot minute mount plow with cutting edge.
