Meet mandrills and golden-bellied mangabeys as they swing through trees of African forests. Watch as hippos swim and play in their amazing 150,000-gallon pool. Guided bus tour - 40-minute tour around the zoo as they highlight some of the best exhibits. Dining and shopping facilities are located around the zoo. Raintree Grill, Safari Kitchen, Flamingo Café are some.
Pets are not allowed, nor are there facilities for accommodations. Special parking, restrooms, telephones, and access to shows, tour buses, and exhibits are provided for guests with disabilities. Strollers, lockers, and motorized wheelchairs are available for rent. ATMs, first aid, public transportation information, lost and found and check cashing are located near the administration building.
1-Day San Diego Zoo Pass includes: Admission and unlimited use of Guided Bus Tour, Kangaroo Express Bus and Skyfari Aerial Tram, all shows and exhibits. Free Parking. Excludes Special Ticketed Events/Attractions. **Please note Child Admission is free during the month of October. Photo Caravan Safari Tour - Safari trucks go into the heart of large field exhibits to get an up-close-and- personal look of the free-roaming animals of Asia and Africa.
