Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along:

Temporary Road Closures:

RS005705 – A30 High Street in the parish of West Coker from 55m west from the junction with Churlands Close to 5m east from the junction with Gooseacre Lane, for a distance of 920 metres.

RS005829 - A37 Ilchester Road and Tintinhull Road in the parish Yeovil Without from A37 Ilchester Road, junction with Coppitts Roundabout (Southern leg) to A37 Ilchester Road, 20M South East from the junction with Tintinhull Road; including Tintinhull Road from the junction with the A37 Ilchester Road for a distance of 25M. A total distance of 290 metres.

RS005696 – Sandringham Road & Balmoral Road in the parish of Yeovil from Sandringham Road, junction with Lyde Road to No13 Sandringham Road; including Balmoral Road from the junction with Sandringham Road for a distance of 65M. A total distance of 275 metres.

RS005698 - Eastfield, Brue Avenue, Brue Close, Wyvern Close & Priory Mead in the parish of Bruton from Eastfield, junction with the A359 Frome Road, to Brue Close, junction with Brewham Road; including Wyvern Close from the junction with Brue Ave for a distance of 35M; including Priory Mead from the junction with Eastfield for a distance of 65M. A total distance of 795 metres.

RS005831 – Church Lane in the parish of Seavington St Mary from the junction with Water Street to the junction with New Road, a distance of 278 metres.

RS005832 – Coombe Street Lane in the parish of Yeovil Without from the junction with Coppitts Roundabout to the junction with the A359 Mudford Road, a distance of 1060 metres.

RS005834 - Henning Way & North Crescent in the parish of Milborne Port from Henning Way, junction with Station Road to Henning Way, 175M from the junction with Station Road; including North Crescent from the junction with Henning Way for a distance of 110m. A total distance of 305 metres.

RS005835 – Limerick Close in the parish of Milborne Port from the junction with Cold Harbour to 115m from the junction with Cold Harbour, a distance of 115 metres.

RS005836 - Rosebery Avenue in the parish of Yeovil from the junction with St Michaels Avenue to the junction with Lyde Road, a distance of 840 metres.

RS005837 – Smokey Hole Lane in the parish of Chiselborough from the junction with Eastfield Lane to the junction with Pease Hill, a distance of 965 metres.

RS005839 - West End View, West End Court, West End Way & West End Close in the parish of South Petherton from West End View, junction with Compton Road to West End Close, 60M from the junction with West End View; including West End Court from the junction with West End View for a distance of 60M; including West End Way from the junction with West End View for a distance of 70M. A total distance of 335 metres.

This Order will enable Somerset Highways to carry out phased preparation works and resurfacing works.

The Order becomes effective on 25th March 2021 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The phased works are expected to commence on 1st April 2021.

The works promoter will contact residents and business directly to discuss access arrangements. Advanced warning signs will be installed 10 days prior to the commencement of works for each closure.
