SOUTH SOMERSET ORDER 2012 (AMENDMENT NO.2) ORDER 2014
Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Sections 1, 2, 4, 32, 35, 45, 46, 49, 53, and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (hereinafter referred to as “the Act of 1984”), as amended; and the Traffic Management Act 2004 (hereinafter referred to as “the Act of 2004”), as amended, and all other enabling powers; and after consultation with the Chief Officer of the Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act of 1984 hereby makes the following Order:-
The County of Somerset Prohibition and Restriction of Stopping, Waiting, Loading and Unloading and On-street Parking South Somerset Order 2012 shall be amended by the revocation of the Map Schedule specified in the First Schedule to this Order and the insertion of the Map Schedule specified in the Second Schedule to this Order.
Any existing waiting restrictions relating to the lengths of roads specified in the Schedules below are hereby revoked and superseded by the new restrictions as outlined in this order.
The effect of the Order shall be:-

Church Street, Castle Cary From a point 20 metres north east of (both sides) the junction with South Cary Lane for a distance of 33 metres in a north easterly direction
South Cary Lane, Castle Cary From the junction with Church (both sides) Street/South Street for a distance of 35 metres in a north westerly direction
