Daher trug die vergoldete Trophäe den Namen "Jules-Rimet"- Pokal. In den dreißiger Jahren fanden drei Turniere um diesen Pokal statt, bevor der Zweite Weltkrieg ausbrach und 12 Jahre lang keine Fußball-WM ausgetragen wurde.
