Ïåðåäíåñïèíêà ñèëüíî ïîïåðå÷íàÿ, ñ òóïûìè Ñåìåéñòâî Sphaeritidae ñîâñåì íåáîëüøàÿ ìî- ïåðåäíèìè è ïðÿìûìè (ðåäêî îñòðûìè) çàäíèìè óãëà- ìè; âåðøèíû ïåðåäíèõ óãëîâ âñåãäà, à çàäíèõ ÷àùå âñå- íîòèïè÷åñêàÿ ãðóïïà æóêîâ ãîëàðêòè÷åñêîé ôàó- ãî çàêðóãë¸ííûå; áîêîâûå êðàÿ ñ õîðîøî âûðàæåííîé íû. Åäèíñòâåííûé ðîä Sphaerites Duftschmid, 1805 êàéìîé, çàäíèé êðàé áåç êàéìû. Ïîñëåäíèé â ñðåäíåé îáúåäèíÿåò â ñåáå 5 èçâåñòíûõ â íàñòîÿùåå âðåìÿ ÷àñòè øèðîêî-äóãîâèäíî âûñòóïàþùèé íàçàä. Ïóíêòè- âèäîâ, åù¸ îäèí, Sphaerites involatilis Gusakov, sp.n. ðîâêà ïåðåäíåñïèíêè áîëåå âûðàæåíà íà áîêàõ. Ñòåðíèò îïèñûâàåòñÿ èç Êèòàÿ â íàñòîÿùåé ðàáîòå. Ñàìûé ïåðåäíåãðóäè ãðóáî øàãðåíèðîâàííûé, ìàòîâûé. Ùè- îáû÷íûé âèä Sphaerites glabratus (Fabricius, òîê íåáîëüøîé, îêîëî 1/10 äëèíû íàäêðûëèé, ïîêðûòûé 1792), ðàñïðîñòðàí¸ííûé â ëåñíûõ ðàéîíàõ Åâðî- åäâà çàìåòíûìè òî÷êàìè èëè ñîâåðøåííî ãëàäêèé, çåð- ïû è Àçèè, ïðåäñòàâëåí â êîëëåêöèÿõ ñðàâíèòåëüíî êàëüíî áëåñòÿùèé. Îòðîñòîê ñðåäíåãðóäè, ðàçäåëÿþùèé áîëüøèì ÷èñëîì ýêçåìïëÿðîâ. Ýòîãî íåëüçÿ ñêà- ñðåäíèå òàçèêè, î÷åíü ãðóáî ñêóëüïòóðèðîâàííûé, íå âûäà¸òñÿ âïåð¸ä çà óðîâåíü ñðåäíèõ òàçèêîâ. Íàäêðûëüÿ çàòü î áîëüøèíñòâå äðóãèõ, óíèêàëüíûõ ïî ñâîåé ñ 9 áîëåå èëè ìåíåå âûðàæåííûìè òî÷å÷íûìè ðÿäàìè è ÷èñëåííîñòè, ïðåäñòàâèòåëÿõ ðîäà.  ïåðñïåêòèâå ïëîñêèìè ïðîìåæóòêàìè, íà âåðøèíå ïðÿìî îáðóáëåí- ïðåäñòàâëÿåòñÿ âåñüìà âåðîÿòíûì îáíàðóæåíèå â íûå. Ýïèïëåâðû, ïîñòåïåííî ñóæàÿñü, äîõîäÿò äî çàä- ãîðíûõ ðàéîíàõ Êèòàÿ åù¸ ðÿäà íåëåòàþùèõ âèäîâ íèõ íàðóæíûõ óãëîâ íàäêðûëèé.  âåðøèííîé ïîëîâèíå ýòîãî ðîäà. íàäêðûëèé èìååòñÿ ïðîäîëüíîå æåëîáîâèäíîå âäàâëåíèå, 180 À.À. Äëèíà 4,86,2 ìì, øèðèíà 2,63,2 ìì. äëÿ ïîë¸òà. Ïåðåäíèå òàçèêè êîíè÷åñêè âûñòóïàþùèå, ׸ðíûé ñ áîëåå èëè ìåíåå ðàçâèòûì áðîíçîâûì áëåñ- ñîïðèêàñàþòñÿ âíóòðåííèìè ïîâåðõíîñòÿìè. Òàçèêîâûå êîì. Çàäíèå òàçèêè ñèëüíî ñáëèæåíû, íî íå êàÿ êàéìà å¸ ïåðåäíåãî êðàÿ øèðîêî ïðåðâàíà â ñðåäíåé ñîïðèêàñàþòñÿ. Âñå á¸äðà ñðàâíèòåëüíî ñëàáî ðàñøè- ÷àñòè. Áîðîçäêà áîêîâîãî êðàÿ ïåðåäíåñïèíêè óçêàÿ, íå ðåííûå, èõ ïîâåðõíîñòè óìåðåííî ãóñòî è ãðóáî ïóíêòè- ìåíåå ÷åì â 2 ðàçà óæå áîêîâîãî êàíòà. Ïóíêòèðîâêà ðîâàííûå. Ïîâåðõíîñòü 6 òîíêèìè ïîïåðå÷íûìè ìîðùèíêàìè. Ó÷àñòîê ïëå÷åâîé âèäèìîãî ñòåðíèòà îáû÷íî ñðàâíèòåëüíî ãóùå ïóíêòè- îáëàñòè, îòãðàíè÷åííûé âåðõíåé ãðàíèöåé ýïèïëåâðû è ðîâàííàÿ. Ïèãèäèé îêàéìë¸í âäîëü çàäíåãî êðàÿ, òî÷êè êèëåâèäíîé ñêëàäêîé îñíîâàíèÿ íàäêðûëèé, ñðàâíèòåëü- ïóíêòèðîâêè åãî ïîâåðõíîñòè áîëåå èëè ìåíåå ãóñòûå, íî íåáîëüøîé. Ðåáðî âåðõíåé ãðàíèöû ýïèïëåâð ñ íå- íî âñåãäà ÿâñòâåííî îáîñîáëåííûå. Ýäåàãóñ óçêèé è äëèí- áîëüøèìè, ïëîõî çàìåòíûìè çàçóáðèíêàìè. Êðûëüÿ íûé, òðóáêîâèäíûé; ïàðàìåðû, ñðîñøèåñÿ íà áîëüøåì (ðèñ. 6) õîðîøî ðàçâèòûå. Ìåòýïèñòåðíû ïîêðûòû êðóï- ïðîòÿæåíèè ñâîåé äëèíû, íà âåðøèíàõ îáîñîáëåííûå, íûìè, ãëóáîêèìè òî÷êàìè. Âåðøèíà çàäíåãî âåðòëóãà îòêðûâàþò âåðøèííóþ ÷àñòü ïåíèñà, íåñóùóþ òîíêîå (ðèñ. 8) ïðèëåãàåò ê çàäíåé ïîâåðõíîñòè áåäðà. Á¸äðà ñêëåðîòèçîâàííîå êîëüöî. Êîêñèòû ÿéöåêëàäà êðåïêèå, çàäíèõ íîã (ðèñ. 8) óìåðåííî øèðîêèå. Âèäèìûå ñòåðíè- ñèëüíî ñêëåðîòèçîâàííûå, ñ òðåìÿ áîëåå èëè ìåíåå âû- òû áðþøêà, îñîáåííî 6, ÿâñòâåííî ïóíêòèðîâàííûå. Ïóí- ðàæåííûìè çóáöàìè íà âåðøèííîì êðàå. êòèðîâêà ïèãèäèÿ äîâîëüíî ãóñòàÿ è ãðóáàÿ, íåðåçêî äâîé- íàÿ. (type species: E. kapleri sp. nov.) from Malaysia, Sabah is described, and its taxonomic placement is discussed. The current concept of the phylogeny and classification of Histeridae is critically examined. Based on cladistic analysis of 50 taxa and 29 characters of adult Histeridae a new hypothesis of phylogeny of the family is presented. In the concordance with the proposed phylogeny, the family is divided into three groups: Niponiomorphae (incl. Niponiinae), Abraeomorphae and Histeromorphae. The Abraeomorphae includes: Abraeinae, Saprininae, Dendrophilinae and Trypanaeinae. The Histeromorphae is divided into 4 subfamilies: Histerinae, Onthophilinae, Chlamydopsinae and Hetaeriinae. In the Fort St James Forest District, in central British Columbia, Douglas-fir (Pseudotsuga menziesii Franco) (Fd) grows at the northern limit of its North American range. At the district level the species is rare (representing 1% of timber stands), and in the early 1990's growing populations of the Douglas-fir beetle (Dendroctonus pseudotsuage Hopkins) threatened the loss of all mature Douglas-fir habitat in the district.

The faunistic data of the listed species is supplemented by bionomical information. 1. INTRODUCTION Until now from the Rogów region 22 species of clown beetles have been reported (Wiąckowski 1957, Szujecki & Kinelski 1959, Szujecki & Zaborowski 1968, Mazur 1970, Mazur 1972, Burakowski & al. 1978, Nunberg 1986, Piętka 2013 and Byk & al. 2014) and one species of false clown beetles (Mazur 1972). This part presents a list of the species of clown and false clown beetles known to occur in the Rogów region. Almost all species have been collected by the authors, only a small part of specimens was taken from the collection of J. Dominik and J. Sawoniewicz. All the specimens mentioned are kept in the collection of Department of Forest Protection and Ecology in Rogów. All the latin names have been checked according to “A concise catalogue of the Histeridae (Insecta: Coleoptera)” (Mazur 2012) and “Catalogue of Palearctic Coleoptera” (Löbl & Smetana 2004).
