Enjoy Sidmouth - a quintessentially English town in a beautiful part of southern on the (a World Heritage Site) – the ideal location for a language holiday. Book at our private, family run school founded in 1976, the only English Language school in Sidmouth – you will get personal attention, a friendly environment and an experienced team to make your stay memorable and productive. We are placed in the top 10% of British Council accredited English Language schools in UK (ELGazette Sept 2015). Refresh and improve your English language in small classes with interesting lessons and professional staff in a wonderful location. Join our varied social programme and experience the delights of the region in summer or autumn. The programme is included in the price. When you book the course we will send you a questionnaire so that we can design a programme to include your interests. Meet like-minded people from other countries. Stay in one of our specially selected homestay families or choose your own accommodation in the town.

Fees include: • 20 lessons (15 hours) of tuition per week, mornings only • Small mixed nationality classes (maximum 9 students) • A course designed to help you learn quickly and effectively • Levels – Elementary to Advanced English • Full social programme with 2 half-day trips each week and a full-day excursion on Saturday (see overleaf) • Accommodation booking service • Airport transfers on Saturday (see below) COURSE FeEs For 2 weeks: 4 – 18 June £790 3 – 17 September £636 Add registration fee £75 and accommodation

ACCOMMODATION There are several options: • Homestay – arranged by SIS. You will be placed with a suitable host family within walking distance of the school. Dinner, bed and breakfast are included every day and light lunch at weekends. You will need to buy your weekday lunches. sTANDARD SINGLE ROOM: £168 PER WEEK • Self-­catering – we can direct you to websites where you can browse the different options and book self-catering apartments or houses. • Hotel, guest house or bed and breakfast – we can give you the names and website links for some places recommended by previous students We can help you choose the most suitable accommodation for you.

And the new – shopping centre, the theatre and cinema • Read and write – there are many places in Devon that have literary connections with authors such as Jane Austen, and Rosamunde Pilcher and you can visit the locations that inspired them • Eat – fish and chips, cream teas and enjoy a barbecue in the school garden • Drink – visit the local and cafes and sample Devon cider • Play golf, tennis or lawn bowls (there is a golf course in Sidmouth and others nearby) sample programme

SATURDAY Departure

Transfers We provide a FREE transfer to and from London Heathrow Airport every Saturday throughout the year. Average journey time (including comfort stop) is 3 hours. To use this free transfer: Arrivals: flights must arrive at Heathrow before 15.30 Departures: flights must depart from Heathrow after 13.45 Regular shuttle buses link Heathrow to Gatwick Airport (journey time 80 min) and to Stansted Airport (journey time 90 min). We can arrange car transfers (up to 4 people) to Sidmouth from anywhere in the UK. Minimum price per car for single journey: Heathrow £225; Gatwick £235; Stansted £285; £125; Exeter £38. There are frequent bus (www.nationalexpress.com) and train (www.nationalrail.co.uk) services from London to Exeter and a regular bus service from Exeter to Sidmouth (www.stagecoachbus.com)
