High Barn Eastleigh | | | TQ9 7SS Seller Insight

Having moved from a large house on Dartmoor we were looking for a character property with light and spacious rooms in a semi rural location nearer to shops and facilities. We found this with High Barn in the pretty hamlet of Eastleigh, just on the edge of Harberton and approximately ten minutes drive to Totnes! We have found that the hamlet is extremely friendly and has a really tranquil, community spirit to it. There are also lovely trails we can walk are dog on in the near vicinity.

We are one of four barns and an Annex which is part of Overleigh. We particularly enjoy the lovely views across our land to the wooded slopes on the far side of the valley. When we first saw the barn we were impressed by its size and the beautiful living area with its exposed beams and this room accommodated a lot of our larger furniture. We also needed four bedrooms which this offers and a good size outside space. We have a rear courtyard which offers us easy maintenance and afternoon sun to late on. The front area of paddock is an easy to maintain level grassed area and we also own ‘the triangle’ across the road.

Sadly, the time has come to downsize again. We hope that the new owners enjoy the barn like we have. We will certainly miss that view which we know will be irreplaceable!*
