All Fee-For-Service (Straight) Medicaid enrollees have the benefits and resources listed below.
Health Services Covered by Medicaid: (Varies based on enrollee’s age, financial/family situation, etc.) o Preventive health & treatment (flu shots, immunizations, and smoking cessation agents) o Dental care (teeth cleanings -2x each year/every 6 months) o Yearly vision tests, glasses, contact lenses o Prenatal care, family planning services and clinical services o Low cost prescriptions o Medical equipment and appliances (wheelchairs, etc.) o Emergency ambulance transportation to a hospital o Hospital inpatient & outpatient services o Laboratory & X-ray services o Cancer Screenings and Mammograms o Early periodic screening, diagnosis, and treatment for children under 21 years of age o Care in a nursing home or through home health agencies o Treatment in psychiatric hospitals, mental health facilities, and facilities for the mentally or developmentally disabled (person under 21 or those 65+)
