ADDITIONAL WINE SERVICE $1.50 per total guest count Price of wine not included in service rate Tray Passed Wine Our tray passed wine service allows your guests an opportunity to mingle while our servers pass your selected wines for one hour during your event. You may choose 2 wines from the wine offerings below. Tableside Wine Our tableside wine service gives your guests the ease of enjoying their meal with no interruptions. A glass of wine will be poured tableside through dinner service by our service staff at a pre-determined time during your event. You may choose 2 wines from the wine offerings below. Sparkling Wine Toast Our sparkling wine toast is a perfect way to celebrate any special occasion. One glass of sparkling wine will be poured tableside by our service staff at a pre-determined time during your event. Our sparkling wine toast will also include a non-alcoholic sparkling juice. BRIDAL ROOM PACKAGE $5.50 per person Enjoy a glass of sparkling wine, or pair it with orange juice for a mimosa while getting ready on your special day. All the ingredients to make your own mimosas will be waiting for you in your bridal dressing room upon your arrival.

The Michigan Liquor Control Commission regulates the service and sale of alcoholic beverages. As a licensee, Meijer Gardens is responsible for the administration of these regulations; therefore alcohol may not be brought in or taken out of the facility (this includes alcohol as a gift). Meijer Gardens reserves the right to refuse entry should any attendee arrive intoxicated or in possession of alcohol not purchased at Meijer Gardens. If any of the Taste of the Gardens Alcohol Policies are violated any time throughout your event, Meijer Gardens reserves the right to confiscate alcohol, cease service, and ask guests in violation to leave the property. Should this event be discontinued as a result of violations, the lessee jointly and severally agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Meijer Gardens, its officers, agents, directors, employees and volunteers against any and all loss, damages, claim or liability whether from personal injury or property damages caused by or arising from the actions of the applicant, its guests and invitees. If the event is discontinued for any reason no refunds will be issued. • Meijer Gardens may refuse service of alcoholic beverages at any time to anyone. • Meijer Gardens enforces a zero tolerance for minors consuming alcohol. • Alcohol will only be provided to persons 21 years of age or older with a valid government issued ID. • Alcohol products or glasses may not be handled by anyone under 21 years of age. • Meijer Gardens has a no shot policy. ALCOHOL AGREEMENT • All Alcohol Agreements must be signed and received by Meijer Gardens 30 days prior to the event or alcohol selection and staffing cannot be guaranteed. • Lessee must be 21 years of age or older to sign the Alcohol Agreement. • Minors are the responsibility of the lessee signing the Alcohol Agreement. • Alcohol service is available only during room rental times and will cease 30 minutes prior to your confirmed rental time. • Only events with complete food service appropriate to the confirmed rental time will be offered alcohol for their events. • Draft beer is only available in the Grand Room, Grand Palm Room or Grand Orchid Room. ALCOHOL FINANCIAL PAYMENT PROCESS • Lessee must guarantee the alcohol payment with a valid credit or debit card number (Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express). • All balances incurred for alcohol service must be paid in full the day/evening of the event. • Meijer Gardens does not accept personal checks. Payments may be made by cash, certified check, debit or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express). • Staff and labor charges are dependent on guest count and services desired. See Taste of the Gardens alcohol staffing charges listed on alcohol agreement. • All bars will incur a minimum $100.00 bar staffing fee. Prices are subject to change due to final guest count. See Taste of the Gardens alcohol staffing charges listed on alcohol agreement. • Arrangements can be made for special order product by proposal with advanced notice prior to event. • All products will be subject to 20% surcharge and 6% sales tax. By signing this agreement, you acknowledge that you have read the Hospitality Event Services document and the following Event polices dated December 2016 and agree to abide by these terms and conditions. You jointly and severally agree to indemnify and hold harmless Meijer Gardens, its officers, agents, employees and volunteers against any and all loss, damages, claims, or liability whether from personal injury or property damages, caused by or arising from the actions of the applicants, its guests and invitees.
