WALKING DIRECTIONS FROM CHESTER TRAIN STATION AND PARK AND RIDE BUS STOPS
If you plan to use the Park and Ride, we recommend using the following services for ease of access to our sites:
Chester Campus: the Sealand Road service (CH1 4LQ*) stops at the Bus Exchange
Riverside Campus: the Wrexham Road service (CH4 9DE*) stops on Wrexham Road
Kingsway Buildings: the Upton Service (CH2 1EU*) stops at Chester Train Station
Bus Exchange to Chester Campus
15 minute walk
At the bus stop turn left and cross over Hunter Street
Turn right walking up Hunter Street
Follow the road round onto Northgate Street
Continue forward until Fountains roundabout
Proceed through the subway; follow signs for Parkgate Road
Continue forward on Parkgate Road for 500 yards/6 minutes
The University of Chester Exton Park entrance will be on your left hand side

Wrexham Road bus stop to Riverside Campus
2 minute walk
Using the pedestrian crossing, cross over the road
Walk through the archway and across the car park
The Riverside Campus entrance is on the left of the building at the end of the car park
Chester Train Station to the Kingsway Buildings
20 minute walk
Immediately after leaving the bus turn right
Continue along Station Road and cross the road at the raised crossing
Continue along Station Road towards the station car park and take the steps up to Hoole Road
Turn right onto Hoole Road
Continue forward on Hoole Road
Turn left onto Newton Lane
Turn right onto Kingsway Road West
The Kingsway Buildings will be on your left hand side UNIVERSITY OF CHESTER
Chester Train Station to Chester Campus
20 minute walk (via Chester City Centre) Exit the railway station via the main entrance
Continue forward along city road (towards Chester City Centre)
At the roundabout proceed through the subway (pedestrian crossings also available) and follow the signs for the city centre, Foregate Street
Continue along Foregate Street
Continue forward along Eastgate Street
When you can see the Cross in front of you turn right onto Northgate Street
Continue forward until Fountains roundabout
Proceed through the subway; follow signs for Parkgate Road
Continue along Parkgate Road
The University of Chester Exton Park entrance will be your left hand side
A bus service runs at regular intervals between the railway station and Chester city centre (10 minutes’ walk from the Chester Campus)
Chester Train Station to Riverside Campus
25 minute walk (via Chester City Centre) Exit the railway station via the main entrance
Continue forward along city road (towards Chester City Centre)
At the roundabout proceed through the subway (pedestrian crossings also available) and follow the signs for the city centre, Foregate Street
Continue along Foregate Street
Continue forward along Eastgate Street
At the Cross, turn left onto Bridge Street
At the crossroad continue onto Lower Bridge Street
Turn right onto Castle Drive
The Riverside Campus will be on your right hand side a
