Jantz Stadium in Winfield, Kan. 2014 SOUTHWESTERN COACHING STAFF On the Field... -The Moundbuilders have allowed more than 40 points in each of its first three games this season. If Southwest- -Ken Crandall (Head Coach/Offensive Coordinator) ern allows 40 or more in Saturday’s game, it will become the first Moundbuilder team to allow 40 or more points -Jimmie Tagg (Co-Defensive Coordinator) in four consecutive games in the program’s 119-year history. -Mark Scott (Special Teams Coordinator, Linebackers) -Wyatt Jiru (Running Backs) -Southwestern is hoping to avoid its first 0-4 start since 2009. That year, the Moundbuilders went on to finish 3-7. -Victor Redd (Wide Receivers) -Friends head coach and Southwestern College alum Monty Lewis coached the Moundbuilders for nine seasons In the Press Box... Fellow senior Skylor Kistler finds himself ranked No. 8 nationally with 113 receiving yards per game. -The kicking game has proven its consistency for the Moundbuilders this season. Redshirt-freshman kicker Mario Esparza is 2-for-2 in field goal attempts this year, both of which were from 42 yards out, and both of which spot- ted the Moundbuilders a 3-0 first-quarter lead. Esparza is also 8-for-8 on point-after-touchdown attempts.
