Jantz Stadium in Leavenworth. In the Press Box... -After missing most of the 2013 season due to injury, junior linebacker Eric Walker has quickly made his way to -Andy Krause (Co-Defensive Coordinator) the national spotlight. Walker enters Saturday’s contest ranked No. 3 in the NAIA with 13.9 tackles per contest, -Mark Scott (Special Teams Coordinator, Linebackers) including 18.5 total tackles for loss, a mark that ranks 8th nationally. Senior linebacker Paul Mata has also -Jonathon Lyons (Tight Ends) emerged as a force to be reckoned with in the defensive backfield. Mata currently ranked No. 20 in the NAIA with 9.9 tackles per game. -Redshirt Freshman Mario Esparza has been nearly automatic in his point-after-touchdown attempts this season. Esparza is a perfect 15-for-15 in PAT attempts, and is one of 18 NAIA kickers that have not missed an extra point attempt this season. Ony six NAIA kickers have made more consecutive PAT attempts than Esparza.
