Raymond Strack retired in January 2010 from the Department of Homeland Security, Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, as a Supervisory Criminal Investigator/ Supervisory Special Agent. Strack began his federal law enforcement career as a Customs Patrol Officer in 1983 in New York City and spent a majority of his early career as a Customs Special Agent at J.F.K. Airport.

From 1992 until retirement, Strack served in numerous managerial and supervisory positions for both the U.S. Customs Service and then the Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement following the inception of the Department of Homeland Security in 2003. As Assistant Attaché for D.H.S. in the U.S. Embassy in Tokyo, Strack was a direct liaison to the Japanese government during the negotiations and implementation of numerous bilateral programs and initiatives.

As a Supervisory Special Agent, Strack acted as the National Marine Coordinator for the Office of the Special Agent In Charge, Miami, where he was the direct supervisor for the U.S. Customs Service Marine Group in Fort Lauderdale.
