1st course Anchor Annual Christmas San Francisco, CA Anchor Brewing, 41st and 42nd Christmas We cellared Anchor 2015 Christmas Ale so we could have a Vertical Tasting between 2015 and 2016!! Every year since 1975 the brewers at Anchor have brewed a distinctive and unique Christmas Ale. The Ale’s recipe is different every year — as is the tree on the label. 5.5% ABV

2nd course Affligem Noël Brouwerij De Smedt / Brouwerij Affligem, Belgium Belgian Strong Dark Ale ... Smells incredible, cinnamon, brown sugars, honey, malts, yeast, alcohol is strongly present, spicy Incredible taste with a heavy alcohol backlash at the finish, Lower carbonation. 9.0% ABV

Caramelized pancetta with feta cheese and roasted fennel salad, with a red wine vinaigrettes.

3rd course Santa’s Little Helper Port Brewing, San Diego, CA A Russian Imperial that tastes like it smells with chocolate, smoked malts, vanilla, coffee beans, cocoa powder, caramel, light bourbon, molasses and charred wood, some dark fruit, citrus hops like grapefruit as well as herbs. 10.0% ABV

Tamales Navidenos A yearly tradition in our kitchen. Slow roasted pork wrapped in fresh masa and corn husks. Topped with a deep red chili sauce.

4th course Jubelale, A Festive Winter Strong Ale Deschutes Brewery, Bend, OR. (Rated World Class, Beer Advocate) Award-winning, dark, malty celebration ale with layered flavors and beautifully balanced hopping. Notes of chicory, earth, spice and fruit. A beer we look forward to every year. 6.7% ABV

Applewood Bacon Wrapped Individual Meatloaf Our meatloaf topped with applewood smoked bacon and roasted tomato jam and housesmoked melted mozzarella cheese. Served with whipped mashed potatoes.

5th course St Bernardus Christmas Ale Refuge de Notre Dame de St. Bernard Belgium. (Rated Exceptional Beer Advocate) Belgian Strong Dark Ale, Pours a dark caramel. Nose dominated by plums, figs, dates, nutmeg, allspice, a touch of cinnamon, and some doughy malt. 10% ABV This is THE Christmas Ale

New Orleans Bourbon Bread Pudding Bourbon Soaked Bread Pudding with Fresh Vanilla Bean Sauce. Tony P’s Seasonal and Rotating St Bernardus Christmas Ale (Chalice, Draft) Refuge de Notre Dame de St. Bernard Belgium. (Rated Exceptional Beer Advocate) Belgian Strong Dark Ale, Pours a dark caramel. Blond Ale, State Brewing Company, Gardena, CA (Draft) New Brewery, Great Beer! Just 14 miles away Easy Drinking beautiful color. German Ale malts and Noble Hops, giving this beer noticeable sweet honeylike, and biscuity notes, while maintaining a crisp and refreshing finish. ABV:5% 6.5

Köstritzer (Ko-stits-er) Black , (Draft) Made in Germany rated Outstanding. Unlike other dark beers, not overly with burnt and roasted malt characteristics. Instead, hops are used for a good portion of the bitterness. Highly drinkable, Very refreshing and Highly recommended!! 4.8% ABV 6.75

Icelandic White Ale, Einstök Brewery (Draft) Located just 60 miles south of the Arctic Circle. A clean and crisp start with a smooth mouthfeel thanks to the oats, citrus and spice, round out a refreshing finish. Wheat malt, malt, oats, bavarian noble hops spiced with coriander and orange peel. One of the best white ale we ever tasted. ABV: 5.2% 7.25

Not Your Fathers Rootbeer, Small Town Brewery (Bottle) The silky, smooth and satisfying finish is unmatched in flavor. It appeals to craft beer aficionados as well as those who don’t typically drink beer but crave something unique. The award-winning “Not Your Father’s Root Beer” achieved a 95 rating from Beer Advocate. ABV: 5.9% 6

Icelandic Doppelbock | Einstök Ölgerð ( Einstök Beer Company ) (Bottle) Malty with tones of molasses, dark bread, a little coffee and dark chocolate. Making an appearance as well as a fairly strong presence of caramelized sugar. Mellow finish make this the perfect combination. Get it while you can. ABV: 6.7% 7
