Pinewood Studios has been home to the James Bond franchise for over 50 years. We will soon return to begin production on the twenty-fifth film.

We understand that the Pinewood Group would like to build new sound stages and increase studio capacity at Shepperton Studios. We believe this expansion will be of enormous benefit to the UK film industry and will enhance Shepperton's status as a world class facility.

The expansion will provide the type of all-in-one production facilities that are increasingly being demanded by the film industry, and will make Shepperton Studios a true alternative to Pinewood as a venue for making films like Bond. This will bring investment not only to the local area, but to the UK in general.

We believe the UK film industry is the finest in the world, with the most talented artists, technicians and crew. The UK film industry deserves another world class studio facility, with the sound stages and supporting amenities capable of handling every type of film and television project, no matter the size.
