He’s choreographed Smokey Joe’s Café, Seussical, and Scrooge! The Musical for TLT in the past. This is Eric’s second pass at ACL, having choreographed the show for St. Raymond’s HS in the Bronx when his brother was a sophomore. Eric loves the collaborative aspect of theater and believes, “It takes a village.” He would like to thank, Heather Arneson and Kara O’Toole for their support and assistance dur- ing this process. A shout out to Klair Eldridge and Tacoma Urban Performing Arts Center for graciously providing use of their studios for ACL dance rehears- als…Thank You! Special thanks to my loving family for their unwavering support of my life in the theatre. This show is dedicated to all who put themselves on the line for what they love. Enjoy the show!

Jeff Bell (Musical Director) Jeff is thrilled to be making his Tacoma Little Theatre main stage music directing debut withthis production of A Chorus Line after having music directed Mary Pop- pins Jr. for TLT’s summer camp and Footloose for Club TLT over the summer. Other area credits include productions at Children’s Theatre, Auburn Community Players, Renton Civic Theatre, Broadway Olympia, Village Theatre, and The 5th Avenue Theatre as well as productions at Cornish College of the Arts. Thanks to Chris, Nena and everyone at TLT and to the cast for bringing this wonderfully challenging score to life.

Nena Curley (Stage Manager/Production Manager/Education Director) Nena is regularly seen as a stage manager here at Tacoma Little Theatre. Past shows include: Shattering, Evil Dead, Scrooge, and Macbeth at Tacoma Little Thea- tre. Thank you: Eric, Jeff, and cast for a wonderful show! Thank you: Izzy and Gunnar for all the backstage work, Chloe and Ethan for magic with spots, and Caerwyn for being the champion of mics! Thank you to my parents and Dylan for their love and support.

Blake R. York (Technical Director/Master Carpenter/Scenic Designer) Blake has been involved with theatre in the area for the past 14 years. Blake serves as TLT’s Technical Director, Set Designer, and Graphic Designer for the season posters. Favorite designs in the area include: Sleuth, Sylvia, Scrooge! The Musi- cal, A Christmas Story, Rabbit Hole, (TLT), Oliver!, A Funny Thing…., The Lion in Winter (Lakewood Playhouse), Tom Sawyer, Pippi Longstocking (TMP), and The Tempest (Olympia Little Theatre). Blake was named Best Director of the TLT production of The Pillowman at the AACT Regional Festival and won Best Scenic Designer in the AACT National Competition in June. He would like to thank his wife Jen, his parents, and friends for everything they have done and continue to do for him.

STAFF BIOGRAPHIES Frank Roberts (Lead Carpenter/Properties Manager) Frank is excited to continue at TLT as their Lead Carpenter. His work with TLT started as a volunteer during the run of and he enjoys the dynamic work and communal experience that this fine theatre provides. Thanks to his friends, family, Jill, and all who support local theatre.

Niclas Olson (Resident Lighting Designer) Niclas is an actor, director, playwright, and designer based in Tacoma. His de- signs for Tacoma Little Theatre include Someone Who’ll Watch Over Me, Little Shop of Horrors, Cabaret, Dracula, and Of Mice and Men. His work can be seen regularly at Lakewood Playhouse (The Woman in Black, Oliver!, Pride and Prejudice), Dukesbay Productions (Tea, Night of the Iguana), and New Muses Theatre (, Frankenstein, Doctor Faustus). Niclas is the Managing Artistic Director of New Muses Theatre Company and line producer for Open Space for Arts and Community. www.niclasolson.com

Michele Graves (Resident Costume Designer) As Resident Costume Designer for Tacoma Little Theatre, Michele has the pleasure of designing for a variety of shows, be they musicals, comedies, dramas, or tragedies. Each genre has afforded her an opportunity to work with talented cast members and production staff. This is Michele’s 5th season with TLT as Resident Costume Designer. During our 101st season, she will be costuming shows never seen on TLT’s stage introducing her to new shows and design chal- lenges.

Dylan Twiner (Resident Sound Designer) Dylan is glad to be returning as a designer for TLT. He grew up listening to old timey radio plays and has loved collaborative story telling ever since. His previ- ous TLT sound credits include Laura, A Doll’s House, Macbeth, Blithe Spirit, Dracu- la, and The Pillowman. He has also been seen onstage in several productions in the area over the past decade, including with the improvised theatre group Muh Grog Zoo. Thank you for coming to see this show and supporting live theatre.

Jen York (Resident Scenic Artist) Jen has been a part of the local theatre community for over 14 years, serving as director, scenic artist, actor, stage manager, prop master, and youth educator for many of the area's theatres. Her most recent directorial credits include: Seussical, The Underpants, and A Christmas Story at Tacoma Little Theatre and Inspecting Car- ol, It’s A Wonderful Life, and Narnia at the Lakewood Playhouse. She would like to offer love and thanks to her family and friends for their unwavering support of all of her theatrical endeavors- both well planned and hare-brained. -xoxo

THANK YOU! In 2018, TLT launched its "GRAB A SEAT AND ENJOY" campaign to raise funds to replace the seats in the auditorium and make some much needed upgrades! We have made tremendous progress to the donors listed below and appreciate everyone for their generosity. Currently we are working with our architects to develop a timeline that will allow us to complete the project with a minimal disruption to our pa- trons, students, and production schedule. we have more details we will share them with you, and hopefully a sneak peek at what it will look like!

Ms. Arneson teaches ballet at Tacoma Urban Performing Arts Center. Recent choreography credits include Seussical and Mamma Mia. Mauro Bozzo (Gregory) Mauro is excited to be returning to the Tacoma Little Theatre stage in A Chorus Line. He was last seen on the TLT stage as the Emcee in Cab- aret. Roycen Daley (Paul) A BFA Alumni from CWU, Roycen is excited to be joining the Line on his debut at Tacoma Little Theatre. Zach Edson (Mike) Zach is excited for his second show here at TLT, following his heroic staging as Ash Williams in Evil Dead The Musical. Recent works include: Newsies & Mamma Mia (Kitsap Forest Theater) and It's A Wonderful Life & Cabaret (Renton Civic Theater). He'd like to thank his acting and vocal mentors along with his family for all their support.

Nick has been doing theatre in the South Sound for the past eight years since graduating from WSU with a degree in Theatre Arts. Valentine Fry (Kristine) Valentine is so excited to be back on TLT’s stage, being last seen in as the Purple Bird in Seussical. Some of their other favorite productions include: The Rocky Horror Show (Magenta), (Adelaide), and (Amber). They would like to thank their friends and fami- ly for all of their support, as well as Eric for allowing them to be a part of this amazing production. Enjoy the show!

Melanie Gladstone (Val) Melanie has waited a lifetime to dance these moves onstage and could not be more thrilled that it is happening under the direction of the per- fect team of Eric and Jeff. Originally from New York, she has worked onstage and behind the scenes for the past 30 years. Melanie is thor- oughly enjoying collaborating with the established and new theatre companies around the area. Thank you to Chris for creating this oppor- tunity; Nena for your patient leadership, the cast for the incredible and laughter you poured into every rehearsal, and to you, the audience, for continuing to support live & local theatre!! Enjoy our one singular sensation!! Austin Harris (Tom) A Chorus Line is Austin’s debut role at Tacoma Little Theatre. When he’s not acting on the set, he’s building it as part of TLT’s professional set production team. Austin is a senior at Pacific Lutheran University studying Economics with a focus on money markets and risk analysis. In his free time he likes long walks on the beach and Italian wines. He’d like to thank his friends and wonderful girlfriend Jessie for sup- porting him through this performance.

Anna Herron (Vicky) Anna was a ballet, jazz and contemporary dancer with Tacoma Per- forming Dance Company for twenty years, dancing several principal roles such as the Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker. This is her first show with TLT. She wishes to thank her husband, son, and daughter for sharing her with the dance studio, and Jo Emery for training her and believing in her.

CAST BIOGRAPHIES Keola Holt (Diana) Keola Holt is a 24 year old actress from Aberdeen, . This is Keola’s first show at Tacoma Little Theatre. She lives and studies in North Seattle. Keola previously made her Tacoma theatre debut as Jovie in Elf at Tacoma Musical Playhouse. She’s very excited and hum- bled to be a part of this classic show!

Lisa Kelley (Bebe) A Chorus Line marks Lisa’s first show at the Tacoma Little Theatre. When not in Tacoma, Lisa is teaching dance and working towards re- ceiving her Bachelors degree. Other credits include: , Oklahoma!, Little Women, and The Cunning Little Vixen. Lisa would like to thank her family and friends for their support throughout this show.

Anden Leo (Frank) TLT Debut! Anden is overjoyed to be a part of this legendary story alongside this stellar cast. Past Productions: Tacoma Musical Play- house: The Buddy Holly Story (Ritchie Valens); West Side Sto- ry (Bernardo). Coeur d'Alene Summer Theatre: Oklahoma! (Ali Ha- kim); Smokey Joe's Cafe (Adrien/Victor). Aspire Community Theatre: The Addams Family (Gomez). Seattle Musical Theatre: Jesus Christ Superstar (Simon of Cyrene). Liam Loughridge (Mark) Liam is a junior at Bellarmine Prep and he’s so excited to be working with Tacoma Little Theatre again. He was last seen in Elf: the Musical at Tacoma Musical Playhouse. Other credits: Curious George and the Golden Meatball, Mamma Mia at Kitsap Forest Theatre, Tom Sawyer at Tacoma Musical Playhouse Family Theatre, and Scrooge! and Seussical at Tacoma Little Theatre. He is so excited to be working here again and is so thankful for Eric for giving him the chance to do this show.

Heather Malroy (Sheila) Heather received her BA in Theatre and Vocal Performance and has performed, choreographed, and directed in the Pacific Northwest for over 15 years. This is her first show at TLT and she is thrilled to have the opportunity to play one of her dream roles and work with such talented cast and creative team. Some of Heather’s most recent shows include Heathers, The Wedding Singer, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, , Little Shop of Horrors, Seussical The Musical, The Addams Family, , and Curtains. A big thank you to Tim, David, and Kyla for all of your love and support. You fill my heart with so much joy.

CAST BIOGRAPHIES Derek Mesford (Don) Derek is thrilled to return to the TLT stage and join this amazing cast and crew. You may recognize Derek from his previous roles as Rocky in The Rocky Horror Show (Auburn Community Players), Cinderella's Prince in Into the Woods (New Muses Theatre Company), or Curly in Of Mice and Men (Tacoma Little Theatre). Enjoy the show!

Micheal O’Hara (Zach) Micheal has had a productive theatre season including Forbidden Broad- way at LPH, the title role in at Second Story Rep, and at Tacoma Arts Live. He is grateful to appear in A Chorus Line with this remarkable cast and creative team. In 1987, Mi- cheal appeared as Al in the NW premiere of A Chorus Line at Pierce College. In addition to performing, he also serves on the TLT Board of Directors. Offstage, Micheal is the Owner/Operator of Glass Works in Gig Harbor and enjoys spending time with wife Sharry and three fur children: Bogart, Frasier, and Maisy. Thank you Eric, Jeff, Nena & Chris for your leadership. Thea Ramirez (Tricia) Thea is a Sophomore at Curtis Highschool and is thrilled to be return- ing to TLT after appearing in Scrooge! Recent Credits: Heathers and Les Miserables (Eponine) with Lakewood Playhouse and Newsies (Elmer), 12 Angry Jurors (#4), and Good Cop Bad Cop (Detective #1) at school! Thea has been dancing since she was eleven and is grateful to the Chorus Line team for this opportunity!

Adrian Renon (Butch) Originally from Maui, HI. He has served in the US army. Some of his credits include Macklemore, The Chainsmokers, X Factor finalist Ello- na Santiago, “Pepper” in Mamma Mia! at Tacoma Musical Playhouse, assistant choreographer for Head Over Heels at ArtsWest, As You Like It! at Seattle Rep, and 2nd place adult division at World of Dance. Cynthia Ryan (Maggie) Cynthia is making her Tacoma Little Theatre debut! She is excited to add Maggie to the list of her favorite roles which also includes Laurey in Oklahoma!, Cinderella in Into the Woods, and Mimi Marquez in . She studied Musical Theater at the University of Tulsa in Oklahoma, and Acting at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in . Spe- cial thank you to my parents and my husband for their love and sup- port!

CAST BIOGRAPHIES Whitney Shafer (Cassie) This is Whitney's first show here at TLT and she’s so happy to be here! Other credits include Elf: The Musical (ensemble, dance captain), Mary Poppins (Mrs. Banks), (Elsa), Singin’ in the Rain (Kathy), and (Daughter, Choreographer). Whitney has a BFA in Music/Dance/Theatre from BYU. Love to her family, especially her husband, Ben, for supporting her in her !

Natalie Silva (Connie) This is Natalie's first show with TLT and it has been a blast and a half!! Last seen in Holiday Inn with Manestage theatre she lives for dance heavy musicals. A Chorus Line has been a dream show for her since she learned the original music and the mirror choreography during her dance schooling in New York. She'd like to thank Eric for his direction, choreography, and patience with the line of us, Nena for always keep- ing us in line (LOL), and her family and friends for their constant love and support! Kira Leigh Vega (Judy) Kira began dancing at age three in her living room. She then went on to study and teach ballet, jazz, tap and musical theatre dance for 15 years with her father, Jerry Tassin as well as other Seattle-area instruc- tors. She has appeared in TLT’s as Mrs. Segstrom and Lakewood Playhouse’s as Dance Captain. During the day she is a Tacoma area Realtor. Thank you to Dad, Mom, and Jason for all your support!

Benjamin Wheat (Roy) Making his debut at Tacoma Little Theatre, Ben wants to thank his family for their constant support in his creative endeavors. Currently studying Information Technology at UW Tacoma and dabbling in local theater, he is more than excited to be a part of another show with many talented actors and actresses from his community.

Josh Wingerter (Al) Josh is grateful for this opportunity to return to the Tacoma Little The- atre stage after 28 years when he was in a production of Oliver! Favorite roles include Ripper from High School Musical at Seattle Children's Thea- tre, Lover from The Who's Tommy at The Village Theatre, and Bob Wal- lace from White Christmas at Tacoma Musical Playhouse. Other stages you might have seen him include Civic Light Opera, Seattle Musical Theatre, 5th Ave, Cargo Theatre, Harlequin, Capital Playhouse, Taco- ma Actors' Guild, and Coeur d'Alene Summer Theatre. We encourage auditions from people of all backgrounds. • Provide clearer opportunities for volunteerism. We’ve always relied on our wonderful volunteers for ushering, and ticket taking, and event planning along with other work. We are now strengthening our Board committees and looking for people who are inter- ested in volunteering with us on event planning, fundraising, facilities, and governance.
