Nederlander or “Jimmy,” Chairman of The Nederlander Organization, was the visionary theatrical impresario who built one of the largest private live entertainment companies in the world known for producing and presenting world-class entertainment since 1912.     SARA BRIANS is a director, choreographer, dancer and educator based in New York City. Her work spans Broadway theatre to film, live events and industrials. She has extensive experience conceiving choreography for large-scale productions as well as intimate venues, always with the purpose to develop and deliver original, inventive and imaginative theatre through artistic collaboration and galvanizing inspiration. Most recently, Sara directed and choreographed Godspell at Theatre Aspen and choreographed Follies at the Astoria Performing Arts Center, for which she has received a nomination for Outstanding Choreography by the NY Innovative Theatre Awards. MacDonald New Hampshire Attorney General 33 Capitol Street Concord, New Hampshire 03301 Re: Notification of Data Security Incident Our File No: 1220111 Dear Attorney General MacDonald: Our client, The 5th Avenue Theatre Association (the “Theatre”), a musical theatre company located in Seattle, Washington, understands the importance of protecting the personal information provided by its employees and patrons and is making this notification to your Office in accordance with applicable law following a recent data security incident. The Theatre recently suffered a break in and theft which it first learned of on August 30, 2020. Specifically, on August 30, 2020, the Theatre first learned that unauthorized individuals broke into the Theatre, among other offices in the building, overnight and stole certain computer equipment, among other property. Immediately following the incident, the Theatre contacted law enforcement and retained a specialized legal team and security experts to determine exactly what specific information may have been stored on and accessible from the stolen equipment and the potential, if any, for unauthorized access to it. The theft included certain computer black-up tapes and equipment which stored data that appears to have included personal information, including name(s), date(s) of birth, and Social Security number(s). While the Theatre believes that the stolen data is extremely difficult to open and requires a high degree of technical expertise to access, the Theatre has provided notification of the incident to potentially impacted individuals in an abundance of caution and so that they are clearly informed of the situation.
