Panopto 5.2 - Windows Server 2012 R2 Requirements

This installation document will go through the steps necessary for installing the prerequisite software that is required for Panopto 5.2 and 5.3 to be installed on Windows Server 2012 R2. We have provided download links for most of the products. At the bottom of the document, we have listed Powershell commands to install the required Windows Features and Roles.

You will need the Server GUI to be installed to run Panopto.

You will also need to make sure that the Windows 2012 R2 server is up to date with the latest windows updates.

Installing PowerPoint

You can use any version of Powerpoint 2013. For this example, I am using Professional Plus. The only requirements that Panopto needs are "Microsoft PowerPoint", "Office Shared Features", and "Office Tools".
