CHRYSLER 160, 160 GT, 180 a 2 Litres Zrození Chryslera 160/180 V 60.letech, když francouzská značka Simca odprodala svůj většinový podíl (63%) americkému koncernu Chrysler, došlo k přejmenování společnosti na Chrysler France. Značka Simca tak zmizela z tovární brány a nahradil ji Chryslerův pětiúhelník. Tato skutečnost se setkala s výrazně negativní reakcí francouzské veřejnosti, která jednu dobu dokonce vozy Simca částečně bojkotovala a teprve v 70.letech vše utichlo. Přes složitá jednání se sice Francouzům podařilo zachovat značku Simca pro všechny vyráběné modely, ale zlom nastal tehdy, když se společnost Chrysler France snažila proniknout na širší evropský trh a rozhodla se vyprojektovat zcela nový automobil, který by plně vyhovoval evropským zákazníkům a zároveň se stal vlajkovou lodí automobilky. Projekt dostal interní název C-Car. V Británii měl být vůz na trhu pod značkou Humber (jejíž velké modely se přestaly prodávat v r.1967), ve Francii mělo jít o vozidlo, které by bylo v hierarchii značky nad Simcou 1301/1501 a postupně ji i nahradilo. Vývoj probíhal paralelně ve Francii a Velké Británii, kde společnost Chrysler Corp. vlastnila značky, spadající do skupiny Rootes Group. Ke koordinované spolupráci měl však evidentně hodně daleko, neboť obě značky vyvíjely zcela odlišný vůz v naději, že jejich návrh zvítězí. Design britského vozu vytvořil designér Roy Axe a vycházel přitom ze stylistické návaznosti na tzv. B-Car, což byl Hillman Avenger. Simca vytvořila vůz, označený jako Projet 929. Vedení koncernu se nakonec rozhodlo pro britský návrh, ovšem s použitím některých francouzských komponentů a s tím, že bude existovat verze pro britský a pro francouzský trh. -

Este texto, por lo tanto, sólo pretende dar una visión de lo que pudiera haber ocurrido, intentando llenar los huecos vacíos con teorías que no tienen por qué haber sido así ya que, de hecho, en la realidad, Simca ya había desaparecido. - A todos los amantes, seguidores y conductores de Simca. 2 - Los modelos de Simca que nunca llegaron a ver la luz. Cuando Peugeot compró las filiales de Chrysler Europa, entre las que se encontraba la popular marca Simca, el fabricante del león decidió llamar a sus modelos Talbot, pasando, desde ése momento, al olvido Matra, Simca, y todas las marcas que habían formado el grupo de Chrysler. Pero, para mucha gente, Simca ya estaba muy arraigada en nuestro consciente colectivo, y aunque Peugeot logró introducir a Talbot unos pocos años, lo cierto es que prácticamente nadie se olvidó de Simca. Por su parte Chrysler, que había adquirido Simca ha finales de 1962 (aunque ya había comprado parte de su capital años antes, y aunque también es cierto que hasta el verano de 1970, en que Simca toma el nombre de Chrysler Francia al hacerse ésta con la mayoría de sus acciones, y los vehículos se realizan a la par y con ambas siglas, no se podría afirmar que Chrysler operaba totalmente en Simca, si bien es cierto que tenía una gran influencia), decidió dar un empuje a Simca creando una serie de modelos que marcarían una buena parte de la historia Europea, y, por ende, también la española, con gran acogida por parte del público en general, y de sus clientes y conductores en particular. -

By product communication, we are talking about all of the tools which allow our customers to identify quickly and correctly the required part numbers for all applications. Why ? As it enables us to work more efficiently and makes all of our jobs easier. Firstly, it increases the number of potential vehicles that can be equipped by reducing range gaps and secondly, it increases customer satisfaction by reducing errors and catalogue searches. From the recently renewed paper catalogues (where you can see the enhancements we have developed) to the updated electronic catalogues, we have focused all of our efforts on improving our product identification and vehicle mapping systems to the highest of standards. As evidence, Sogefi has just been reconfirmed as having the highest possible level of data certification by Tecdoc. This “A” grade has been scored to all of our Light vehicle brands and to our new Sogefi Pro Range for Truck and Buses which makes us even prouder. The Tecdoc assessment takes into consideration various parameters including data compliance, translations, etc. and has given Sogefi a score that far exceeds the industry average. Of course, we are very proud of this recognition but we see this more as a positive sign to carry on and intensify our efforts, as we know there is still a lot to be done. -

Actually, almost every wish is fulfilled, when you look at the Talbot Matra Murena. The Murena has 300 litre of luggage room, it?s rust proof, spares are available and cheap, it?s comfortable, it?s sufficient exotic to turn heads in the traffic, and it?s to become a classic. -
