ÍNDICE INSTRUCCIONES INSTRUCCIONES ALMACENAMIENTO Y PUESTA EN SERVICIO DE BATERIAS SECAS Almacenamiento: Conservar la batería en el embalaje original y en un lugar limpio y seco. Puesta en servicio: La batería y el ácido deben estar a 10ºC mínimo. Efectuar el rellenado justo antes de su instalación en el vehículo. 1. Quitar los tapones o cualquier dispositivo de obturación. 2. Rellenar la batería con ácido sulfúrico para baterías a 1.280 - 0,010 (32º - 1º Be) para un clima templado o (27,5 Be) para un clima tropical o a un nivel de 10 mms por encima de los separadores o al nivel indicado. 3. Después de 15 minutos de reposo, agitar la batería ligeramente y, si fuese necesario, rellenar hasta el nivel. 4. Poner los tapones o el portatapones. 5. La batería está lista para su uso. Sin embargo una carga es necesaria si: a) Las temperaturas de la batería y del ácido son inferiores a 10ºC. b) La batería no es montada el mismo día. c) El vehículo no es utilizado hasta dentro de algunas horas. La carga debe de ser efectuada preferentemente a 2,5% de la capacidad de arranque en frío o 1/10 de la capacidad en 20 horas, durante un mínimo de 3 horas o hasta que la densidad del ácido o la tensión bajo carga no aumenten en dos horas consecutivas. LA CARGA ES SOBRE TODO IMPORTANTE DURANTE LA ÉPOCA DE INVIERNO Y CUANDO SE REGISTREN BAJAS TEMPERATURAS O HELADAS. DESPUÉS DE LA CARGA, REGULAR EL NIVEL DE ÁCIDO CON AGUA DESMINERALIZADA.
