Primo dopo la discesa, l'americano ha controllato in slalom e ha preceduto gli svizzeri Janka e Zurbriggen. Innerhofer, decimo, il primo degli italiani WENGEN (Svizzera) - Bode Miller torna al successo in Coppa del Mondo. Lo statunitense ha vinto la Supercombinata di Wengen, in Svizzera. Dopo essersi aggiudicato la prova di discesa valida come prima anche, Miller ha difeso il suo vantaggio nello slalom (dove ha ottenuto il dodicesimo tempo) e chiuso con un complessivo 2'35"96 davanti agli svizzeri Carlo Janka e Silvain Zurbriggen, rispettivamente secondo a 0"37 e terzo a 0"42. Primo degli azzurri Christoph Innerhofer, decimo a 1''86 e alle prese con dolori alla schiena. Miller non trionfava in Coppa da quasi due anni: l'ultima vittoria risaliva a marzo 2008. RAICH QUARTO - Quarto posto a 0"71 per l'austriaco Benjamin Raich: il leader della classifica generale aveva chiuso la discesa in ventitreesimo ma poi ha ottenuto il miglior tempo nello slalom. Più indietro gli altri azzurri: dietro a Innerhofer da segnalare però il 14esimo posto, a 2''35, del ventenne meranese Dominik Paris, che aveva chiuso la discesa al terzo posto. Raich guida sempre Rocca: "Al 90% mi ritiro" come detto la classifica generale di coppa del mondo, ma ora janka si è portato a -32 punti. A Wengen nel fine settimana sono in Adelboden, azzurri a picco programma anche la discesa sulla classica pista del Lauberhorn e uno slalom. "PER ME E' UNA SORPRESA" - "Sono anche io sorpreso di questo risultato, anche se sapevo che prima o poi doveva arrivare. Mi sto allenando diligentemente - ha detto Miller - ed era previsto che in gennaio sarei entrato pienamente in forma fisica". Per l'americano, 33 anni il prossimo ottobre, è la 32/a vittoria in Coppa del mondo, la terza in una supercombinata. Bode è uno dei pochi al mondo ad avere vinto in tutte le discipline dello sci alpino. The first name to mention among the athletes that will be descending on the slopes this winter season wearing the CARRERA brand is Carlo Janka, the young Swiss athlete, who last year won the General World Cup for the downhill and giant slalom races.
